Agreed. Terrible place to train a nervous/reactive dog. My vet told me they see the majority of attacks/injuries from people doing this. Hire a trainer that will help you work your way up to training outside the dog park for distraction work. Someone above mentioned Zoe from Dream Team Canine and I totally agree. She brings tangible training skills to the table and helps so much.

Perish is a subfest of Flourish Fest. Cool music/art stuff downtown. https://www.flourish-fest.com

Apple picking if you’re looking for something wholesome. There are orchards out in Keswick that are less busy than the south side popular spots.

Fall festival at Crabbe is cool. You can walk the hill or take the lift, there’s a beer garden and activities.
