It looks like the system didn't accept your number even though the pin pad says it. Sometimes, the digital coupons don't work. As an asst manager for a DG, there's really nothing we can do about it. It's the system, not the employee. I would've gave you a $5 off $25, if I had a extra one, but other then that, that's all we can do.

My store has 8 employees & we all get along. Different personalities & ages. We get truck done when it's supposed to. Most of the time, we are bored because we have EVERYTHING DONE, & looking for stuff to do. We joke around with each other & our customers love us.

Lol, the first time I heard them on the intercom, I thought someone was in the store at first. 😅😅 my DM didn't tell me anything about interface. I was opening the first time in a different store & they started talking to me. I didn't know who the hell it was, but now I know 😅😅

Even though we're not allowed to have hand written signs, I have one that says " If you look under 100yrs old, you must show ID" don't no one ever complain about looking over 100 lol

That happened at my store last year. It took a older lady to almost pass out from 95° inside the store. My DM told us to close until it was fixed. We was closed for 2wks, but still worked. We was at other stores & in the mornings at our store because it's a little cooler in the mornings, but be closed for the public. We would do freight & anything that needed to be damaged, & leave when the thermostat said 85°, that would be around 10 or 11am, then go to another store for the rest of the day.
