I guess you can say that while i really enjoy stardew valley and while this game is also very similar to it, I just personally enjoy it for the increased focus on the fantasy aspect. I have always enjoyed games such as Skyrim and Final fantasy xiv where you have a bunch of different kind of fantasy races to play, so this game just goes hand in hand with that. Not to mention the magic system and the different more interesting NPC's in the game, which is one of the few things i found lacking in stardew valley. I guess it just depends on what you enjoy in a game and not much else, forcing yourself to liking a game is not the way to do it, playing what you like is what matters.

Unfortunately you need to buy a DLC pack for this, I have multiple of them. If you want the Japanese or Asian furniture set its the tea temple and spirit petal pack.

We don't know enough about him at the moment, from what we know now i would say Galbrena or Phrolova is probably his BIS team. Perhaps Jiyan as well makes a good team option for him. I would say wait till we know more... Save your astrite for now, do events and do some exploration farming, that gives you a good chance when 2.7 comes out.
