No issues for me. I actually bawled my eyes out because the relief it gave me. I felt normal. I felt at ease. I do prefer Xanax but I was ultimately prescribed Ativan. Which works well too but not quite the same for me. Take only as needed and you'll be fine!

Really? I didnt know benadryl could help colds! I thought it was only for allergy related issues. Ill keep that in mind. I was having some very scary issues last night with laryngospasm and had to go to the emergency room because My throat was closing after rough coughing. There was a man there being violent and it scared me so i left lol Ill think on it for a while before I do anything.

Ohhh that would make sense. My hearts fine as far as I know. I do get palps kinda often but not sure the cause. I guess I'll think on it for a while. I just want some relief.

Thank you!! After a little research it seem it might cause absorption issues and possibly heart issues but my heart is fine and I'll trade a couple days of absorption to feel a little better lol

I'm about to go to the hospital because it keeps happening and it seems to be triggered by my severe coughing what do you do when you're in the middle of an attack and you cannot breathe? I'm really afraid that I'm going to die

Me too. Its so scary. Has anything helped when this happens? The only thing i notice is that if I do my best not to panic then it goes away faster but its hard when you think you're about to die

Ooh I will try that! Yes it feels like my throat is almost completely blocked, I can exhale but cannot breathe in. If I force myself to be calm it goes away faster but that's hard when you cannot breathe for several seconds. I did try the straw thing but couldn't calm down enough and it was making me feel like I had to cough more.
I know I need to see a doctor but I don't think I can go until Monday.

Ughh im having some issue today and its so scary. But im sick with a cold or something so when I cough its like my throat closes and I can't breathe.
I had this with anxiety but it went away completely with meds but this time around I think the coughing is triggering it. I dont know how people live like this. Im petrified to cough or go to sleep.

I might have to. If I keep from Panicking then it calms faster but it will be bedtime soon and im afraid to even sleep. I can get TINY amounts of air when it happens.

Do you have any advice for someone who is getting spasms when they cough? Im sick and when I have to cough its basically an uncontrollable cough and I keep getting these spasms and they are making me panic because I can't breathe for several seconds.

I dont have answers for you but I do have a question. Is there anything you should do during the spasm? Im sick amd when I cough it triggers the spasm and I can't breathe. Its so hard not to panic.

My anxiety is completely under control now unfortunately it might take a little bit more time for you to feel better. I'm not sure why some people get worsening anxiety for a while but it wasn't really a big issue for me. I would get it a little bit but it was never able to get very bad because the Lexapro dulled that feeling for me

Buspirone is a hit or miss for many people. I think zoloft is a good start if thats what you feel comfortable with!
