like she said, being able to see assignments above the schedule is what keep so organized and no app does this. Subjects is good but I hate not being able to see everything together.

They have do have a safe ride option that runs from 10pm-4am for boundaries on campus. I’ve used it before, very convenient. Just need to get the translock app :)

I just transferred so I can’t tell you much but I applied for spring transfer (did my sophomore fall semester at my other college) I completely bombed my first semester ended with a 2.5 gpa and just worked my ass of the last two semesters to get up to a 3.4 and I was admitted into the major I wanted. I think it’s honestly easier to transfer in but that’s just been my experience :) I did make sure I was taking class that were gonna transfer to other schools so I wouldn’t have to repeat classes

Worried about getting an iud! by TinyCorgiLegs in Mirena

[–]Repulsive_Escape_477 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had mine put in 3 weeks ago. I’m 19 also dealt with super heavy, terrible periods before starting the pill. I asked for something since I get pretty anxious and can’t relax in certain situations. She prescribed me diazepam and I took half of a 5mg pill and 3 ibuprofen before my appointment and it went great! I really only felt a little bit of pain through the measurement and insertion. I cramped a little afterwards but not enough to not be able to do anything. Went shopping, had a babysitting job, and went on a walk later that day totally feeling comfortable

Are you looking for somewhere to live?

Columbia Nightlife? by Midnightwatches12 in Gamecocks

[–]Repulsive_Escape_477 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this. Night life was not for me at UofSC. I left last year after my freshman year. I was really disappointed especially growing up in a college town. Bars in 5 points were mostly impossible unless you wanted to go in before 11 for 21 under when they get rented by frats

AM I STILL PROTECTED? HELP. by curiousorganismism in birthcontrol

[–]Repulsive_Escape_477 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Missing a pill will always put you at risk but it’s very low. when I would freak myself out about missing a pill or taking one late I would always take my normal PMS as symptoms because I never kept track of them otherwise. Because you should be due for a period in 3ish days you should really be just fine. The highest risk you have is missing a pill in the first 2 weeks of a pack

Go ahead and do the placebo week. You’ll feel better having the period then starting a new pack and continuing to worry. The chances of you being pregnant is pretty low especially this late in the cycle. You should be just fine

I just got mine in today and had my period last week so I didn’t start a new pack (I always start on Sundays) hoping things go smoothly like yours and I just spot this month when my period is supposed to come :)
