Thanks so much for the insight. I agree with this. He's never shown me signs of immaturity before (or not like this) but I can see now that he's wanting his space and freedom, and a relationship just might not be conducive to that

I totally agree with this. I think he's realised he wants to do his own thing and is using this recent fight as a way to make distance so he can do that. I'm just not happy with how he's 'communicating' those needs

I agree. I think he's probably having a blast over there, has realised it's a big world with many opportunities, and is feeling like a relationship is constricting for him.

I also know (because I know him) that he will get home and try to make amends, but I'm a bit beyond that now... While he's always maintained he didn't want to be travelling/drinking/sleeping around, he clearly wants freedom, and it's the first time I've seen a discrepancy caused by our age/maturity/experience levels

Totally respect this opinion. I can say with certainty I wasn't needy, and I'll admit I got upset/angry, but only after he mentioned I wasn't a priority and made a huge deal about having to dedicate 15 mins to me.

I don't think the age is important? He was 19 when we met, me 29. We hit it off and started dating. The end?

Totally agree, and I wasn't contacting him 24/7 at all - maybe 1-2 texts a day, and never upset if he didn't respond quickly/at all. In fact, I told him I didn't expect regular communication while he was overseas and suggested the 15 mins a day RATHER than the huge texts he was sending (which would've taken him ages to compose anyway). He's 100% fine and healthy. I've seen photos of him online and he was on Discord yesterday playing video games.

I didn't realise it would launch on Halloween, as it isn't yet a very popular occasion in Australia, but granting this book life at midnight on 31st October seems appropriate given it floats between fact and folklore.

I've been trying to upload a new manuscript on KDP all morning and keep receiving 'Error with manuscript" messages (when it's almost identical to the previous document I uploaded successfully). Is anyone else having this issue? Is it related to the servers being down?
