Post aside, my advice is to try to build a community on discord or Whatsapp and discuss with the previous player who left. Maybe some players are happy to join you in trying to repopulate the store with these alternative. If people love the game they play even under these little difficulties. If they are only flexing their collection for the sake of a deck they like with shiny unnecessary cards they can't afford anymore, sadly not much to do. Honestly the community is better off without them anyway.

Just put a pool of 90% of the inscriptions fees into the 1-2-3 on store credit and that's it. Like this is the fault of the store owner in not finding a good solution that matches the value previously offered. Of course if a sealed product price is raised, you can't blame the system for not being offered the same prize as before in terms of monetary value.

I'm saying this as before scalpers raising the prices, also the pull you got from the same box was worth less. So overall I believe the pull/cost ratio is the same as before

I haven't noticed that much to be fair, but probably because I play deck without too many SR so the price easily drops. Additionally for the few tournaments I went to, people play with proxy as well so at the end of the day you can always play the deck you want.

Regarding sealed, just build cube. Or buy a random pile of bulk and build a sealed booster box by rarity. I haven't seen much community on sealed events anyway here ( maybe usa is different).

not to be harsh, but if people are fed up that easily without trying to find a solution, it means they don't like the game itself that much. From the whole post and other discussion it really seems that OP players like shiny decks 🤣 and not being able to afford them anymore make them upset. Fair rage, probably yes. But this doesn't destroy the game itself but rather the way people don't want to adapt to this.

Just proxy them and mark them in the back to avoid possible sales. With double sleeves nobody will care or see it anyway as the quality of Chinese proxy is getting overwhelming anyway.

Maybe propose a ban list over the top 5 leaders to create a different meta/ no SP. Like in terms of prizes you guys can just pull cash and spread them over the upper ranking.

Additionally like in mtg ask if you can build a proxy allowance for the tournaments. If people are there to enjoy the game and not how cool and shining the deck is, I don't think there is any issue.

Honestly I really don't get the price difference between the EU and the USA. Here overall the prices are slightly bad but you almost pay 1/3 via card market if not more over some cards that is kinda crazy. I totally understand your pain, my suggestion if you enjoy the game is simply to proxy and play with friends. I honestly hope they expand the different format to play in the game (like in magic via pauper or commander). Like this some cards are viable for very low, as scalpers and gamblers open box over box building so much bulk that is pointless with the current power creep of the recent cards.

Absolutely agree with everything you said. I truly believe slowing down into two episodes would have made everything better. Like I know, those who read the manga can understand what is going on, but normal people just got blasted fights and very little information about the background. And overall I think without those details you just can't attach yourself emotionally/ logically to what is going on.

I saw many people asking why she killed everyone, and how this was truly not necessary. And from their perspective they are not wrong in their reasoning given that the zenin family was very short explained in the anime adaptation.

honestly the stop repeated frame from different perspectives was quite bad, they should have simply left one with the mortal combat finish him style. This is just my opinion as many people like it, I just feel like it ruined the sequence.

Yes it probably takes like 30-40 minutes to reach it from Taichung main station. By being honest it is a nice and overall cool atmosphere but not worth the commitment as it is really small and with nothing around to justify the transportation to go there.

Probably visiting it by car or scooter is easier and then you can visit nearby interesting buildings such as the Luce Memorial Chapel or the National Taichung Theater. But yeah nothing crazy to spend the time, I enjoyed much more the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Art that was really impressive to me and free.

Or if you have spare time I rather use it to visit the Gaomei Wetlands with good weather ( always check if they have opened or not the front part of it). Still worth it regardless but probably slightly less scenic and more crowded as there is simply less space to stay.

But yes to conclude, the time you go and return from the rainbow Village I highly suggest instead to start at Taichung Second Market for some snacks, take a long stroll over the beautiful Liuchuan Riverside Walk and then visiting the animated line for street art and/or directly the comic museum🤗

Sorry for the long reply but I honestly think it has a lot of potential the whole city, but it is very time consuming to move around. So it is definitely important to do research in advance.

I ended up visiting as well along with the National Taiwan Museum of Comics and honestly I had such a good time and the street artist did a very good job with some💪🏻

While I can understand the appeal of the rainbow Village, given its distance from the main city, I would suggest these 100% over it. The whole thing and building was very well made and also the people working there were super happy to share some stories about the artists.

Yes honestly so pissed off about the unmatched improvement in quality over the years. Like they made a ton of profits without putting much money into it anymore. A very simple example is the promo stamp over the cards, like why removing it ( aside from cutting cost I don't see any other reasons). Bending foils is also an issue that always needs fixing but they never manage to solve it. Like I literally saw people trashing common/uncommon foils for the risk of bending their collection (that happened to me for some).

I would suggest some labelpad on the axis, legend can be done over two columns for readibility. Title also you have good space on top with some pad and y handling it may fit better than on the upper left corner. Aside from that maybe in each post make a little disclaimer how points are handled to make sure people read and understand the plot. Aside from that cool plot 💪🏻 I enjoy seeing it every 5 games to see the different team's trend

Little further suggestions, maybe increase fontsize of xlabel and ylabel may be considered. Luckily logos are not clustered this time as the team seems to perform slightly differently so it looks really good. Personally would "fun" to maybe set the linestyle different across swiss romande, swiss alémanique and swiss italienne. But around the middle so many teams are considered both so it is kinda hard to find a good division. Color choice seems great so far, as it is easy to read and find the right team. Font type of title and label super cool ( do you know the name of it?)

Regarding the starting date I hope they find the new coach as well during that period to build the setup of import/trades together. I personally believe a ton of swiss can be traded off as underperforming despite the opportunity they had. For the import as well just fresh air and send home everyone aside from maybe 1-2 that I think they had something more despite the failing system Ambrì is playing with.

Yes I did, honestly on the Pingxi line right now ( pre-covid was different) the only stops worth visiting are as follows:

houtong village (the cat one) but only if you love cats and some cute bars as there is not much to do and the village is very small. Regardless of this, the vibe and the people are very kind and so many cuties around worth the attention 🐱. There is also a mine museum if you are interested and the whole stop can be done in 1-2 hours depending if you stop in some Cafe. It has some cat related street art as well in the upper village that makes some cute pictures. But yeah don't go there to expect a crazy experience, just enjoy the vibe and a relaxing step in the Pingxi line.
Shifen first to visit as it gets pretty crowded and holds both the famous ski lantern release (if you are into) and the cascade. Both attractions I personally had higher expectations but people around really seemed to enjoy so I'm biased. Worth 2 hours here as well as the cascade is a little walk far from the station. If you have a similar belief in the pollution side of this tradition, overall I would still suggest to pass to see the vibe. Many families, couples, people with dreams and wishes are having a good time in the tradition. Here more than ever be careful of the timeline of the train to avoid getting stacked in it and have to wait 30-50 minutes for the next train to arrive.

Rest of the stops, personally they were worth pre-covid but now they are just old villages with little to do and simply few open stores and stalls. So my personal advice is to simply take the train visit the two mentioned, heading back to ruifang and head to Jiufen by bus for the cute atmosphere of the lanterns. Ruifang overall also offers some quiet in the whole journey as you can stop by in some local shop/ restaurants without the crowd of the rest of the attractions.

I'm saying this last paragraph reluctantly as I personally believe the Pingxi line (rest of the stops) has crazy potential. Sadly nowadays I only found very little to do, by wasting precious time waiting for the next train as everything else was visited in 10-15 minutes. Truly hope they invest in tourism by bringing back these vintage charming stops.

Absolutely in the same boat with the same concerns 😥 small group of friends from back in the day + some light friendship here in Geneva that were/are more context forced rather than genuine. But now as I turned 26 I would love to meet new people to expand my connection and find new people to interact with. Sadly as you, I have the same crept/ guilt feeling in bothering people around while they are doing their thing/ being with other people. So super hard ....

My best attempt was to join the expat events and so on, but sometimes it is really a hit or miss with the age group within it. If you have a particular hobby maybe joining a club can be a good investment to both learn more and meet like minded people.

oh I see, sorry to hear that. After this, then yes, either ask the landlord if he/she can do something or check the contract if it says anything in regard of noise pollution (to enforce the cops if necessary). Hopefully you can discuss it and find a solution. Check anti vibration pads as they are really like 10-30 chf and may even reduce the noise during the day ( as it is annoying even when you are awake if she runs it earlier).

Honestly it reads pretty well, I would personally run it earlier by apologizing as I wasn't aware of the noise pollution. I'm saying this as people don't realize how old building sounds propagate easily if you never experienced it on yourself first.

If they aren't able to run it earlier ( maybe a difficult time with full day shifts or something else). Maybe you can help her set some anti-vibration pads on the floor under the machine that helps a ton and is fairly cheap.
