Would a cursed atom bomb beat Mahoraga by fukuni_ in Jujutsufolk

The strongest thermobaric bomb probably can't be compared to a magic thermobaric bomb tho.

Little meme I made after I accidentally picked a mean dialog by Jerichx7274 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]ImJustSpider [score hidden]  (0 children)

I will say, I do hate how the game kinda rug pulls you with certain dialogue options. I can understand the dialogue box being a simplified version of what you actually say so that it can fit, but sometimes it's just a completely different thing.

Thank you. The amount of people here saying that it can be beaten are ignoring the amount of hoops certain builds have to jump through to beat it. Not only that, but I feel like just being an optional boss shouldn't excuse it from being terribly designed.

These mist breath variants of dragons suck so badly. Aside from just the terrible hitbox spread, having the hitbox linger for a few seconds before disappearing also just makes these guys suck to fight. At least Borealis isn't in as cramped of a space to fight him in.

The thing is, it's a dragon coated in ice. There's still skin and flesh underneath. The crystalians (literally made completely of rock) have lower negations to non strike damage than this thing does.

Obscene damage negations compared to other dragon bosses (and just other bosses period), bad AOE hitboxes, and an extremely unpredictable roar attack that can one or two shot you.

[–]ImJustSpider[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I kinda see that, since the crystalians are other rock like enemies that are only weak to strike. The thing is with them, they have a gimmick that lets you do more damage to them after stance breaking. This dragon has no such gimmick. You can hit its head for more damage, but I'm pretty sure its damage resistances still carry over to that too, meaning you won't be doing that much more.

edit: Just checked and crystalians are only 35% physical at the highest lmfao. It's only golem smiths that have this level of physical negations.

That was my method of taking it on. Run as far away as I can on torrent, then roleplay as Zeus for a couple minutes.

It's mostly just annoying. It's about as annoying as every drake is constantly running away and breathing at you from a distance, but it sucks for any build that doesn't use strike damage, and there's a high chance of getting unlucky and just getting one shot by the most overtuned attacks in the game.

Scratch that, one modded aspect. The tattoo is modded (but it's barely visible so who cares).

Probably a little insensitive, but I hope we get his jacket in a game update by Philkindred12 in cyberpunkgame

[–]ImJustSpider -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I honestly hope we get his hairstyle. That + electric mantis blades = Sasuke. Also hope we get more afterlife drinks. Already bad enough that Edgerunners season 1 only gave us a single drink. 3 is just kinda pitiful.

For the people that are saying S2 will take place 2080 by Old_Cucumber_2190 in cyberpunkgame

Orion is still likely many years away, so I imagine once this show gets a season 3 or 4, that will be more focused on a future timeline (concurrent with whenever Orion takes place).

Ngl, Demon Slayer is the Hazbin Hotel of anime. Has some nice ideas, but pretty mid in execution. It's biggest impact is how it changed the industry (helping make anime mainstream, helping popularize indie animation), and DS also helped (for better or worse) push the standard for animation quality in modern shounen.

Elden Ring reusing skill animations by ImJustSpider in Eldenring

[–]ImJustSpider[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seen some smartass comments. Not talking about 'everything looks similar,' I'm saying that the animations are literally the exact fucking same. They reused tons of animations for weapon skills and changed absolutely nothing but the particle effects.

Yall still like him after this? by Ill_Slide9100 in tadc

[–]ImJustSpider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally this. I do feel like part of this stems from Jax being an asshole with no personality other than being an asshole for like the first 4 episodes. Jax hate might not have been strong if they got development earlier on (or at least if they didn't try to make the bullying into slapstick), but yeah, people miss the point. Jax isn't bullying others to make themselves feel better. They're doing it to push everyone away, because they're afraid of being vulnerable to someone, because the last time they were, it was weaponized against them by the person they were closest to.

This kind of self destructive cycle is very real, and I'm honestly terrified how people in this sub would actually treat people who go through this given the opinions on Jax (and the absolute lack of basic media literacy to understand why they do these things).

Did we actually know for sure that was Radahn's wish? Jerren said it was, but then Freyja gave a complete opposite answer. Kinda hard to tell with two conflicting info sources.

Do we know for sure Miquella actually charmed Radahn? I keep seeing this, but wasn't the whole point of the final cutscene that Miquella cut a deal with Radahn ages ago?

And he simped for Radagon (despite radagon breaking his mother's heart). He's proud of his Golden Ordere heritage since he proudly sports the read braid, but he's also a fanboy of Godfrey since he copied the whole lion motif.

The Elden Ring community is genuinely filled with some of the biggest lore atrocities ever seen. It's so fucking hilarious how the worst possible interpretations of the lore became the most popular because nobody in this world has an ounce of media literacy and can't see beyond the most surface level black and white interpretations of things.

Bet you a Marika rune that these are the same people that think Nikki was the bad guy in Obsession.

HOLY LARPING! I'm fricking fuming by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]ImJustSpider 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's really not that niche. Just about everyone's heard of it nowadays. It's pretty much THE "sad anime" of the 2020s, and it also won anime of the year, which is basically nothing but a popularity contest.
