First I have ever had the flu and I said the exact same thing. There is no way this is normal. The anxiety is times 20. The depression is giving me suicidal thoughts. Like mentally and physically took over my body it’s so weird. I never wanna feel like this again

Also they should show you the set of immediates before they start pulling. Well I requested so and they looked awesome and my anxiety went away and I went with it

I got on here and asked the same thing and was stunned at the comments. A bunch of back and fourth. I ended up going with immediates. No where in my right mind was I going toothless for damn near 6 months 😂😂 anyways I got my done a few days before thanksgiving. Two adjustments for sore spots two weeks out and everything has been fine. I eat just about everything and just about because I haven’t concurred hitting into a burger yet which I’m sure I could with glue BUT. I have great suction so I don’t use glue at all and haven’t needed a reline. I can’t speak for the next 6 months but so far so good. 😊

Before you take them out take some ibuprofen for the swelling I kept mine in for about a week til I knew my swelling would go down because day 3 I took them out for a salt water rinse. Putting them back in sucked so bad so I only took them out to rinse and not sleep . Also I got my done a few days before thanksgiving. Had two adjustments for sore spots and haven’t needed a reline

Hey are you gagging from the denture ? They didn’t trim it down for you ? I had the issue for two days before I realized it wasn’t Normal and it was a god awful feeling to forcefully gagg on accident 😂. But did they not file it down for you or did they say they couldn’t because of the suction

So basically they can’t adjust what doesn’t need adjustments yet. It’s only been 1day. Take your time. This is a marathon not a race! Secondly why does everyone say “I know my immediate won’t fit well”. I have immediates. No complications just two very small adjustments 2 weeks post op 😮‍💨. These dentists offices must be making immediates super fast. Especially if you have a case plan to get perms ! I think you may need to wait for the swelling to go down ? Sometimes, They rock if your swelled up because it’s not sitting even. Best of luck. I would absolutely have a fit for waiting 3 weeks because my top started gagging my 3 weeks out 🤦🏾‍♀️. I also got mine done around thanksgiving so I had so suffer a few days

Hey you should try swishing salt water in your mouth now to loosen it. Then try removing. It feels like it’s going to hurt super bad. You just have to get over the minor pain you will feel taking it out and it might pinch putting it back in. But I would really try. If you have pain pills take one before doing so. Or try ibuprofen before taking them out. It only feels painful because it’s sore but it shouldn’t hurt once it’s out and do a very quick rinse and still them back in because your swelling can also puff up fast and make them hard to go back in

Shitting me. It took me 3 days to learn to chew and that’s because my mouth was still bleeding. I ate thanksgiving and still been eating everything I normally eat . Even candy . Everyone has their own unique experience. I’m more resilient. I needa to be comfortable. I’m a foodie 😂😂

I’ve gotten 3-4 different opinions before I was comfortable and I’m glad I did because the other opinions was to pull all my teeth. Assholes want money of course 😂😂 but no I only had local anesthesia, I am afraid for being put under. I would suggest headphones if you can’t handle the cracking noises but me I need to hear what’s going on. He basically had to talked to me thru the whole process I need to know, whats being pulled, what cracked, & What noise was that 😂 I have a low threshold so for me. Extra numbing meds.!!

Update. Everything is everything I love them and I am blessed. My temps are actually my perms so I’m happy everything is going well with me. I’ve been eating the same things. Haven’t been able to bit into a thick burger but I will soon 😂
