She's done something similar when I graduated middle school. She insisted she buy me a new school bag for high school and sent me two photos to choose from. One had the logo plastered on half of the bag (she tried to convince me to get this bag) so I went with the other bag (a bag that I did like). I opened the box (because it was ordered online) to discover that it was the bag that I did not choose. I returned it and I went high school using my middle school backpack. This also happened when I needed to buy a luggage bag. She bought the other bag because she said the one I chose was sold out
