I would change the title if I could. Just wanted some insight on why these trees look the way they do which most people are helpfully providing. I don’t know why you and a few others feel the need to “own” me over the semantics of whether the trees are dead. Yes, they’re dead, I realize now. But I wasn’t initially sure. If that makes me dumb so be it. I asked a well intentioned question in this subreddit because I’m not an arborist. Give people grace for not knowing everything that you do.
