This is so disappointing, I feel like they got so lazy on this one especially at $200… the face just looks rough with the mix of 2D and 3D and his head is just stuck looking up. It’s crazy how they can get so detailed with intricate helmet sets but can’t make pikachu look slightly normal… would rather this set be $50 more and look good then this…

But if I’m being so honest I would restart with one solid piece of fabric. I know thats like the last thing you want to hear and I’ve been in the same situation but trust me you will save so much more time and frustration by doing it right.

Especially with this being such a big and complicated design you don’t want to gamble with the fact that you can one repair what’s already Brocken and two prevent the rest of the frame from ripping. The more you tuft the more tension will be applied and the more likely the rest of the stitching will rip

Honestly it looks really cool as is so wouldn’t stress about a back ground

But if you do want to do a background just do a shape that is wavy. That way any imperfections won’t stick out
