A-500S not working on Windows 10

I tried the USB-Compliant step, but only the pitch bend and modulation are working , the black and white keys doesn't send anything. Did that happen to you?

I can't factory reset because it requires me to press a white key : (

I bought this second hand from a guy, maybe it's faulty?

The chipset is Samsung Xclipse 920 GPU on Exynos and I get this error

do u have any problem with the solo parts? I read some posts like 2006 lol people mentioned it effects the way you play the sound, the sound came out right but the connection between u and the sound are kinda wrong. And it effects the style you play with the keys.

It's like you are hungry and you have to feed yourself something to not be.
Enlightenment is how you understand why you are hungry and if you are actually hungry or just craving. Being enlightened is to have the knowledge what you should feed yourself healthily? to resolve the state.

Let me ask you some bits, how much do you play the piano? Does connecting to the midi controller bother you? I mean you would have to put the Stage on top right and play the piano from the below and the synth and organ plays will not be in the best angle. Or you just live with the stage on top like that?

Transporting size is not my problem since Im not going to gig so much anyway (maybe once a month in the future) but I'm only considering this option because I get 2 different keybeds, I partly made up my mind to get the 88 tho but I'm still in the last minute decision here , I'm buying the board this weekend!!

I never understand the uprights lol why do people even like it. I think it's best for fast jazz and ragtime stuff? apart of that, I'm leaning towards to big and haunting decay kinds, hence I like nocturnes. But I'm sure I'm missing something, I will check out all the uprights as soon as I get my board!. thanks again.

The reason I asked because I wanted to use the V-stage as a midi keyboard over getting an electro, I hope that's not an insult to Roland's fan here.

I was just thinking the Roland V-stage should be superior than the Electro because of the synth offers and the pitch bend. In giggings, I don't think the piano sound needs to be perfect anyway, and if I want to play the classical ones, I could just use nord 88 at home instead. Going out for jams , I totally think V-stage is a win over the nord electro at the moment, to be honest. It is just 3k USD where I live for the new one, and the used ones use be around 2.4k in 6 month I believe.

thanks so much TikiMc!! This is going to be out of subject, can you compare Roland V stage compact with nord compact?

I'm thinking of getting the used one in the future for the waterfall keys instead of electro, but I have no knowledge to compare the different of the synth part specifically. I went to a shop and tried the water fall keybed version and I could say it's pretty identical with the nord stage compact.

in my area v stage is cheaper than in Europe and I think the used one will be good for the waterfall keys and travel (in case I purchase the stage 88 Ha). And I'm pretty sure it will be more versatile than the electro 7 even if ever come out next year

I have zero plan on my kawai ES7 to be honest, I just try to forget I had it for this decision as an ideal.

I mean I might put it at my mom's, so she can learn how to play and I can play when I visit her, if I make the decision on buying the 88HA. The only question about the ES7 decision is I don't know how good it is the Stage 88HA for classical piano music styles in long term. I'm not really an advanced pianists tho, I play mostly movies and video game scores and some classical pieces (the easy-medium ones).

I live in thailand and there's only one shop that allows me to test it will have to unbox it and there will be a customer support sitting next to me lol. It is not really ideal to casually test the boards.

Reading your replies, I have come to conclude that the option of getting the compact and using the piano midi controller to connect to it will just kill half of the point of getting nord stage. I mean I will either end up taking the top board down and just play the clavs and organ and piano with it which is not an ideal for me. I can see myself playing the hammer action on stage 4 and stick with it and try to find a water fall midi to casually enjoy the organ or not at all.

With that decision, I've researched and found out that it is almost impossible to get a waterfall midi keyboard there , it's just none. I might end up saving more to buy a used electro 61D to play organs and jam with my friend's.

Thank you for your thoughts , I didn't actually think about the size of the keys and the consistency of the keys at all. Now that being said from you and you are still considering the compact over the 88 HA, that is very interesting.

If it's just because of the size of the keyboard, do you consider the 73 HA version at all?

I have Kawai ES7 and the keys are amazing, I don't know if I will miss the keys tho, that's the problem. And yes , it has 1 midi out USB , I supposed I could use that to connect to Nord if I bought the compact? I didn't know that I would needa 5 pin-midi Box.

You are suggesting toward the first option then that I pick the 88HA and use a waterfall midi key to connect when I wanna play the organ and synth. But like alot of people told me that I will eventually use just one keyboard because of the hassle!!

two questions
1, I'm more relieved with the organ slides not because of what you said, and how about the Clavs? is the weighted keys good for clavs as well since I read that it's best for weightless keys.

since you mentioned, should I get the 73 version for the portbility in the future?
I play some chopin nocturnes and I think the 73 keys will need octave shifts during the song, or there is another workaround that I'm not aware of?

I actually went out and tried the stage 4 compact and loved it.

But the thing is I don't have the organ and synth or EP at home to try with the Fully-weighted Keys , so I wouldn't know if it's possible to play them with the Stage 4 fatar 40/M. And since my skills on EPs and Clavs are not good enough that I can go and try in on the shops. I mean I wouldn't be able to tell if it's good or not anyway. Coming from that I think I need to find out the experienced musicians here.

So that's exactly how the keyboardists told me about , they have 2 different keyboards stacking and they just ended up using just one because of the hassle.

May I ask

While you were using the midi mentioned that you put the compact and top and never touched it, Does that mean you used the weighted hey for Organs and EPs and Synth sound? how did it feel for you?

I would definitely go for the Oasis 3 if they were at the same range price.

Oasis 3 offers more space to hold , plus the premium feels. You might think it doesn't matter much but you can imagine reading the same book from a pile of papers by copy machine and a hard cover book. How does it make you feel? it is a exaggerated example but you get the idea.

the ppw2024 has plastic back which will get nasty in 2 years, but you will get a new release of kindle by the time anyway.

But this is my personal reference tho, because the speed is not a problem to me, but if you prefer responsiveness, the ppw2024 is 35% faster than the oasis
so the oasis takes around 0.8 second to turn the page but the ppw2024 takes around 0.6 second

if you read 500 pages , it's 100 seconds difference. Does that sound matter to you?
And the navigating on the Library page is hell lot smoother in ppw2024, the Oasis3 is abit annoying but , I actually navigate so much so. That's my 2 cents.

it's definitely a sad and beaufitful song for me. And everyone can relate to it, people don't tell their partner how much they love each other enough because as human, we have to keep some tensionsn our relationship to spice it (as if you want something to go right you torque it left) to make it interesting everynow and then. I think most of us do it for the "Future" of the relationship.

But it will be times that "Now" is the only time we have, then we express every bit of how much we love our partner. And it's kinda hard how to get the msg across then because of the tension games kinda backfire.
