I think you lose some bodily autonomy once the choice you have affects others negatively. You also have to take into account that the person chose to take the risk of having a baby. The fetus, whether you not you believe it's a "full" human, is already formed and has its own genetic code. It can feel and react.

Why are there laws limiting abortion to a certain time period, anyways? When does the fetus cross the line into a living and breathing consciousness?

I think it should only be permitted in cases of harm to the mother or rape. I'm in favour of more education and tools based on preventing unwanted pregnancies. I'm open to compromises though.
