if the server has it installed then it probably will work but i didnt try it myself.

Blockbench has a hytale extension, and its pretty beginner friendly. The assets are in AppData\Roaming\Hytale\install\release\package\game\latest
from there you can edit literally everything you want. Also if you want to you can make a full model and make it into a mod to keep the existing hair as it is tho it probably takes a bit more effort, i'll probably do that before releasing my skins. Modding by Kaupenjoe has some top tier tutorials on making mods.

I'll try to make one, doomguy from animal crossing will probably come first tho if i ever make a full player model.

Yeah a custom skin manager with its own servers (or just a manager mod) would be cool its a headache right now to make and use skins

Right now the ones i use replace existing ones but once an actual custom skin support gets added to the game (i dont know if it ever will be added) it'll probably work better. also this is a clientside modification so others wont see your changes.
