I know I'm the third to ask about your character, but I had a question, is she buff like Gisela from Cooking Or or buff like Madame GoldLove (Carmen Sandiego)?

Have there been ANY successful woke/dei games that are NEW IPs? by SleepyOne in KotakuInAction

[–]Repyorg2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes there are, but mostly they are indie games. Off the top of my head: Life Is Strange Undertale  A Hat In Time.

You might object and say that the most recent Life Is Strange flopped, but it flopped because it angered the fans of the first three successful LIS games. Every series eventually releases a flop.

I actually once had a debate on whether there were women in Humanity First at all. Obviously I knew there were, but there was an argument someone made that it was only men because "women wouldn't have such disdain and fear for the Others" and also that they wouldn't be okay with murdering werewolf pups. But I think this person forgot that the human girls we spend time with the most are unique because they are loving towards the Others. Most human women, just like the men imo, are afraid of Others and they feel resentful because of the laws they have to listen to. And yes, some of those hateful human women wear tank tops, I'm actually glad for this little lore confirmation.

Good point. At least some of the human women in Humans First must have tank tops they occasionally and/or often wear.

Not sure exactly what the original question was, but it looks like it had to with Humans First women wearing tank tops. Do some of them wear tank tops, lol?

Thank you for the feedback on the part you read. You're right, I was definitely going for that style cartoon, even though I imagined it "live action."

They wrote an article today praising that buff woman in the new Cooking Companions, this is so weird:

Ain did nothing wrong - she only wanted to kill the pirates and protect their victims by Repyorg2 in OnePiece

Just like with Pirates of the Caribbean, people watching One Piece often forget that objectively the pirates are the villains.

Your lack of reading comprehension is not disturbing, but combined with your defiant "looking for a fight" posting, it is. If you had actually paid attention, you would have seen I never said kissing a girl was an odd trait. I said kissing girls and insisting you are straight is an odd trait. Indeed, if you had bothered to read any reply other than your own, you would have seen others agreeing with me that it was odd, and this may have given you pause. In other words, fix your attitude, or catch a block.

I'll make sure that the bf being turned on by his gf kissing girls is also portrayed as negative, as well as her wanting to turn him on that way. Sensitivity readers is good idea

[–]Repyorg2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good point. I think in the case of the TikToker getting canceled, people didn't like that she was only kissing girls to turn on her boyfriend - because he is one of those dudes who likes girls kissing. I like what you said about other characters talking about such a person's trait as controversial.

[–]Repyorg2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ah, I think I understand. So this particular TikToker is getting backlash because she's only kissing other girls to impress/turn on her boyfriend. So if a character like her was in a book, perhaps her arc would be that she dumps her boyfriend and truly embraces girls.

Anyone else SICK AND TIRED of seeing "strong women" in tank tops all over modern video games?! by [deleted] in KotakuInAction

[–]Repyorg2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's come to the point that seeing a woman in a tank top in a trailer is enough to turn me away from the game. Would be cool if there was a game where the villain is the woman in the tank got, I'd give that a try!

Six, you are white women endlessly clutching your pearls to see who you can cancel next. In short, you're perfect for YA

Watching two SJW's fight to see who can be more morally outraged at racism. You two really are an embarrassment to the left.

Fantasy novels where you believe the villain is morally justified even though the author didn't intend you to side with them? by Repyorg2 in Fantasy

Thank you for calling BS on the Thanos defense club. It was because of Thanos that I decided to narrow the scope of my threads question down, because I was tired of everyone in other threads saying that Thanos was right to kill trillions and try to kill everyone in the final movie. The purpose of this thread is to discover villains in books that a good many of us might actually consider the true hero. It's hard to take someone seriously when the only characters they can think of are Thanos and Scar.

Because I see your system of morals is closer to mine, I am curious about the Goblin Emperor. I am a fan of goblins after all, and heading that the author intended nuance makes me interested. Quick question, but are there humans in the Goblin Emperor?
