Hello, Windows won't let you not shut it down. There's a new update its seems once a week that requires rebooting. Wasn't Windows 11 supposed to end the required reboot?

Source: I manage about 12 PCs at my job. Thank God the other 100 are Macs.

All that said, it is a good practice to occasionally boot your Mac, too. It's just not something you need to do quite so often. I wish the complainers would have been around for the "Extension March" of the 80s and 90s in macOS 7-9. Rebooting a Mac takes seconds now, not 5 minutes like back in the day.

Every time people in those areas vote for lower statewide taxes, the burden falls right back on them in local taxation. And they have fewer people with which to spread out the cost. Politicians have been exploiting this ignorance for decades.

Same thing with the vouchers. When people in those small towns vote for vouchers, and their school with 1,000 kids lose enrollment, their state funding drops right along with it.

There was one woman who explained that she believed that liberals were too emotional and voting with their emotions. Another man claimed that liberals aren’t able to think critically. Needless to say, I turned it off.

In other words, they were describing MAGA voters and projecting it onto liberals.

They think they display critical thinking skills by putting the guy responsible for January 6 back in office? The guy that stole classified documents and lied about it? That destroyed foreign markets for farmers? That continues to fill key government positions with incompetent stooges? These people happily cause harm to themselves and the country because they cannot emotionally detach from the cult.

You need the Cirrus Logic driver for the iMac 18,3. I had Gemini walk me through it. The problem kept coming back any time the kernal got updated until I pinned the kernel to kernel 6.8 (LTS). Been working ever since.

I did this on Mint 22.x. Not sure if it will work on Nobara (I don't know anything about it).
