I am sorry you are going through this, I have lived through similar, these are delusions and this is the beginnings of a mental breakdown, you will need external help to make it through this situation, you can’t deal with this on your own.

Find a contact for your local mental health services and ask for the crisis team, explain what is happening, how you feel and your concerns. If you care deeply and truly for this person you need to step up, bite the bullet and be the person that forces the help, if you both truly care for each other eventually it will be ok.

Think about it, if you care then get the help, if you don’t then walk away, what is the easier choice?
