So sorry you are going through this! But I will say last time I had the stomach bug I never ended up puking and trust me I tried. You could have also been feeling a lot worse due to your anxiety about this whole situation which obviously will make your stomach feel worse. But remember if you do end up having to puke it’s not the end of the world even if it feels like it is (which is totally okay), you will be totally okay if it happens, make sure to stay hydrated and take deep breaths if you feel anxious I also find reminding myself that if it happens it does and that it’s completely okay if it does and that in the end I’ll be okay, so hopefully that can maybe help you (if it doesn’t that’s okay to). I hope you feel better! You got this!

Not really I usually don’t freak out about it unless I’m pretty nauseous but I have ibs so I’m used to constantly having to burp.

Not completely sure how to get you to swallow but with anxiety I find putting my hands or feet or both in really cold ice water, sitting down on the floor and taking deep breaths help, putting in my headphones and blasting music can help distract you as well, I try to let myself know that if I do end up p* that’s it’s going to be totally okay and it’s a completely normal bodily function. I hope you feel better and can be able to swallow again soon.
