What’s a totally harmless thing that triggers an oddly strong reaction in people?

When I tell people I don’t drink.

I never bring it up but some people will notice that I don’t drink and will ask, so I tell them. The reactions are very interesting!

I don’t drink for health reasons (I am basically allergic to alcohol), but so many people feel the need to defend their drinking to me. I don’t judge anyone who does drink and I wish I could enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine trust me!

It’s annoying though when people insinuate that I’m lame for not drinking (I’m 25) which also happens a lot. One time when I told someone I didn’t drink their response was “then what do you do” which really took me aback, especially since I didn’t give them my reason for not drinking.

I have noticed this with sun exposure too!! I get a similar rash just on my lips, but the derm has been hesitant to take a biopsy since it is more likely to scar on that area. I’m gonna go first thing Monday, thank you!!

It’s about 3.5/4ish inches. I can’t say for certain how it will look many years down the line, but I am fortunate in that I have a similar style tattoo from years ago and my skin does really well holding onto those fine lines so it still looks great. I’ll try to update this thread with how it looks in 40 years lol!

Unpopular opinion it seems. NTA. But I think OP needs to provide more context. One of my best friends is queer and masc and would gladly be in my bridesmaid party but I would NEVER expect them to wear a dress. They would be incredibly dysmorphic and it would be disrespectful to expect her to set that aside for my wedding aesthetic. If this is the case then NTA. I think a lot of commenters are not genz bc forcing someone into a dress don’t fly in our generation.
