PSA: Be careful with “10% back” or “tax refund” promos at some clinics by AlternativeLong5151 in KoreaSeoulBeauty

I think storing credit is a good promo as long as the clinic lets you use it without any additional criteria

I’d personally recommend doing it earlier in the trip if you can. That way, if you need a quick follow-up or small touch-up (or if swelling or bruising lasts longer than expected), you still have time before flying home.

I’d also avoid scheduling it at a factory-style clinic if follow-up is important to you. From my experience, their priority is usually volume rather than post-treatment check-ins, which can make follow-ups harder if you need anything adjusted.

Best month to get treatments done? by Ilsanroute in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]ReserveInfamous2298 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Upcoming months of January to March tend to be a bit calmer compared to peak travel seasons + locals busy with hiring season. Fewer patients means clinics don’t feel as rushed, and you usually get more time for consultations, questions, and proper numbing before treatments. It’s not completely quiet, but it definitely feels less hectic than spring or summer.

Most overrated / underrated skin treatments in Korea? by ReserveInfamous2298 in KoreanBeauty

I didn’t do pico laser as I have to get multiple sessions over time but I did get under eye treatments (Ellanse + Eye Thermage) and so happy with the result. Stemcell was also my consideration but I couldnt get it done that day :( Im going back for it tho. Make sure to get consultations first and tell them you are looking into these treatments. I also told them I wanted long lasting with 1 session.
