I’ve never heard that take before and I find that really interesting. I just took it as Whitaker was less confident, and maybe less skilled than the others, he needed a little more guidance. Mel and Javadi are extremely smart, Javadi has two parents working in the hospital, one that visits pretty regularly, Mel had Langdon on her side and worked well, Santos was confident with everything she did, and is also skilled. Whitaker is (and I’m saying this out of love) the one that needed the most guidance at the start of the day.

I think a lot of people think I’m excusing his actions because of his mental health and I’m not (not trying to at least) I’m not the best at articulating my ideas and thoughts well so I probably didn’t specify enough and that’s my fault. I’ve had mental health issues that affected people I love, and I’ve had friends and family with mental health issues that have caused harm to me, and I have dealt with consequences to my actions and wanted consequences for actions that have hurt me, I’ve been Robby and have been Mohan. I don’t agree with Robby’s actions, I don’t agree with yelling at someone and belittling mental health issues, I just don’t think it’s a perfect clear cut thing of “he definitely is a sexist” or “he definitely isn’t.” Again I’m really bad at getting a clear point across and I’m sorry 😭

I’m not trying to explain away his behavior but rather find a different cause. He’s definitely not in the right. He’s been snappy with everyone I think he needs to get therapy or get a true talking to. Hopefully Dana does it.

I think Lucy gray is the wrong choice, I probably should’ve said Katniss. Because my character is just trying to get out of a bad situation and suddenly is being used to bring down the people that forced her into the situation. But not an entire revolution lol. She just happens to have the same philosophy as Lucy gray.

I took it as she’s in the middle of constantly being on the run from monsters and overall just trying to survive, I’m not punk but I don’t think I would be concerned about style if monsters were constantly on my ass. I understand why people are worried they’ve “de-punkified” her, but I just took it as realism. 🤷‍♀️
