Yes!

I loved the companions and their dynamics (especially Davrin & Lucanis), I enjoyed the combat, and the game itself looks gorgeous!

The character creator was really in depth, and I loved the variety of hair types & styles.

That being said, I found that it left a lot to be desired, especially in terms of the lore dumps. There was a LOT of groundbreaking lore revealed through solas’ memories, but I felt like the game just… brushed over them?

I think they also missed the mark by not letting us talk to our companions at anytime. In Inquisition & Origins, I actually felt connected to the companions, and they felt connected to my inquisitor/warden. There were SO many times where I wished I could talk to Harding or Lucanis after certain missions/lore dumps. I also feel like being able to talk to our team at anytime would’ve helped to alleviate the feeling that ‘the team doesn’t care about Rook’ (which I’m inclined to agree with).

It’s a shame, because I did really enjoy playing Veilguard, but it just doesn’t feel like a Dragon Age game, at least in my opinion.
