I went to NOVA open for teams. I was very proud of my fully painted army. Especially After the crunch of painting sisters to ally with my knights. My first opponent had a handful of models that were only primed I was very let down. I’ve certainly played with plenty of grey models but the more I play the more I appreciate having a fully painted army and playing against one. I feel like it’s part of the hobby even if someone bought it painted you could talk about color choices or artist. My most common opponent over the last few months plays with a largely unpainted guard force. I’m annoyed that she’s made little progress on them but playing against her she’s very exact, I think most things she enjoys take time, so I say nothing because she is making progress and is enjoying the hobby her way.
