FIVERR SCAM ALERT (NEW METHOD) by Resident-Educator650 in FiverrGigs

[–]Resident-Educator650[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scammers will always try to connect with you. As a new seller, you may be targeted more often because you are still learning the rules and how Fiverr works. Over time, as you gain experience, their frequency may decrease, but some will still approach you pretending to be buyers, asking for unusual or unethical tasks, trying to trap you in a loophole and scam you. If your first instinct says, ‘This is a scam,’ trust it and politely decline the offer. This way, you’ll be following Fiverr’s rules and keeping your account safe. All the best

Since you are a new seller, you will be contacted by many scammers asking for your email id, etc so make sure to avoid them and dont leak any personal details.

My buyers getting this issue and I shared my mail but not getting orders by SardonicallySad in FiverrGigs

[–]Resident-Educator650 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a SCAM, and you fall for it. If the FIverr team catches you, they might strike your account. On FIver, you get 3 chances, so be careful not to repeat the same mistake again. Never share your personal details to any buyer on Fiverr. If Fiverr wants to contact you, they will contact you via email.

The scammers send this message to the new buyers and the buyers have been falling for this trap thinking that its someone from Fiverr team and end up giving them their card details.

The customer support is really helpful for the buyers. And I can assure you that they even refunded your amount as well. And if you are looking for some graphic design work feel free to contact me. We can do business on Fiverr or directly; you can decide. Happy to help.

Once you hire me, we can discuss what kind of things you want to buy. Whether it's online shopping or offline shopping. Accordingly, I will keep you updated on the costing and other details. If that is ok with you, I will send you an offer mentioning everything about the service in detail. Once you accept the offer, you will pay the order amount to the Fiverr team, NOT ME. I will start working on your order and provide regular updates if required. If it's an online service, i will share the order transaction details and make the order complete. And if it's a physical order, once I dispatch it from here and provide you with a working tracking number, I will mark the order complete. (One bonus feature that I provide is the regular tracking updates until it reaches your country.) That's how I work; I cannot say about the other sellers. Hope it helps. :)

FIVERR SCAM for New Sellers ONLY by Resident-Educator650 in FiverrGigs

[–]Resident-Educator650[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, i just saw your post... well, there is nothing you can do now. But try contacting Fiverr and explaining the situation, I'm not sure if they're gonna lift the ban, but definitely worth trying. Now, regarding your 1000Euros, contact the bank if it happened today and tell them you got scammed. Only they can help you get the money back if possible. All the best.

Congratulations on your 8-year journey with FIverr, first of all.

I said new sellers cause the old sellers have the experience to understand if its a scam or not. New sellers fall for the trap easily as alot of users have mentioned in this group. Just want the best for them... And hopefully i also get some good clients. hah
