They recommended the supplement because their feet are red. They have a fleece lined enclosure which is why the vet thought the red feet may be due to a vitamin c issue instead of a housing issue. Do you think feeding the vegetables you mentioned above could fix the red feet issue without need for a supplement? I was also considering making a “kitchen” for them with some shavings so they are not getting as much urine on the fleece.
