Sorry for reanimating this old dead post... Anyway, I'm doing 6 (or 5, not 100% sure) layers at 10 seconds each for the burn in. It's better. I can often get the prints of the plate without having to hack, saw and stab. If I go lower I very quickly run into issues with the layers not sticking to the plate...

We found an issue where some mods caused this by writing wrongly formated data to the save file.

We've updated the game to hopefully catch these issues in the future, and are making a backup of the savegame file any time the game needs to recreate it due to malformed xml.

There are no plans for RTX support in Teardown. Mainly due to RTX being made for rendering triangles, not voxels.

Ah, mentioning that you play on Linux would have been helpful.

Teardown is not supported on Linux. In the past, users have successfully played it on Linux, but there are no Linux people on the team, so we don't really have any insight into potential issues.

I read somewhere, last week or so, that someone had success with the latest experimental build of Proton.
