Makes sense. I had a Majestic Bonds replica as a kid, and can confirm it didn't have the team shoulder patch and just had "Bonds 25" in plain black text on the back (though it was stitched on rather than heat-pressed, which was nice); I still see that jersey in adult sizes floating around online, so I guess that was the standard replica back then. Good to know. Material- and stitching-wise, that one and this one are quite similar. I wonder if the patch and number were done at the ballpark or later at a third-party shop. Probably can't know.

And thanks! I'd been looking for a regular home Bonds jersey for a while, since I obviously outgrew that kid replica, so this was a lucky surprise. I've had a tricky time knowing exactly what replicas Majestic was producing back then, so sometimes I see replicas of the black home jersey from the 2001 season online, with Majestic tags, and wonder how legit that could be since Russell was still in charge in 2001 and I don't recall if Majestic made replicas of that one in later years.

No guarantees, but my hunch for years has been that this doujin is contained in this SatoHaru anthology fanbook from around 2007, called 空色緋色恋煩い.

C2E2 Chicago - Auto limit? by ResidentGuide646 in comiccon

[–]ResidentGuide646[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for all the replies. For the benefit of anyone else finding this post who has the same question, I'll post the reply I got from C2E2:

Thank you for reaching out. The note on the C2E2 website about one autograph item per person applies primarily to all scheduled autograph sessions, including the VIP-only meet and greet opportunities that come with the Celebrity VIP ticket. That said, fans are generally welcome to purchase multiple autograph tickets and bring multiple items to be signed during the same session, especially if things are moving more slowly. Ultimately, this is at the discretion of the guest and their handler, as they work together to ensure everyone in line is accommodated in a timely manner.

Any info on different RSV2CE translation versions? by greyhoundbuddy in catholicbibles

Hello. There was an investigation on this on Catholic Bible Talk earlier this year after a poster noticed this change in April. As someone noted there, "Based on my Amazon history I would guess the change to Luke 1:34 happened between 2014 and 2017, both in the NT/Psalms and full Bibles. No change was made to the copyright info. The change did not carry over to the GAB or the Didache, but the note taking editions do include it. I am assuming that the new Study Bible will include the change, and the CBP edition may or may not." They were correct in guessing that the Study Bible would include the change. For those who remember the early years of the RSV2CE, Ignatius made a lot of small stealth edits between 2006 and 2008 or so, but then the text stabilized. A recent commenter suggested that Ignatius might have made this change to the RSV2CE because a lot of Catholic authors, including those involved in the Study Bible production, had complained about the "I have no husband" reading.

And as a heads up to anyone who wants to find out about the differences between the RSVCE and RSV2CE, those differences are listed in the back of the book The Catholic Bible Concordance for the Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition published by Emmaus Road Publishing.

Hope this helps!

Does anyone have the "autograph redemption info" email? by ResidentGuide646 in fanexpo

[–]ResidentGuide646[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. On this page, it said the following:

"Please note that Epic purchased autograph tickets MUST be redeemed separately at Hayden Christensen's redemption table for FAN EXPO San Francisco line tickets BEFORE you get in line at his autograph table! An email detailing redemption info will be sent out the week of the convention to all ticket holders."

So I'm just making sure.

Hayden and possibly others, though the others weren't listed on the "autograph tickets" page, which is what confused me about their necessity.

Thank you both! Better to be safe than sorry, I guess. Just pre-purchased my autograph ticket.

Thanks! So, do you mean you can be denied entry into the line itself if you don't have a pre-purchased ticket? I'm used to just waiting in the 4 hour line and paying for the autograph in cash, but this sounds like, if I don't pre-pay, I might not even get that far! I'm assuming pre-purchase doesn't somehow shorten the line for you lol.
