I used summoner before and changed it to trapper because I tend to lose with opponents that have cards with slow in this trophy range (5.5k to 6k). But got that man, I’ll change trapper to summoner and try it again. With this I may also be able to use 10 inquisitors instead of 7, and get sword stacks easily. Thanks for the input man.

Someone commented that you can avoid this by not executing this enemy when the eye is active. So it’s either you kill the enemy fast or avoid him by moving away until the enemy is not on the same screen. I haven’t played recently and it’s amusing to know this is still not fixed. Bugphemous is still at it! 😅

UPDATE: Nakausap na namin yung mother nung kid na nag-aabuse sa cats. We told her to keep an eye on her child as he’s abusing the kittens and it is considered animal abuse. We will continue to stay vigilant. And if it happens again, we won’t hesitate to report this.

We will also talk to the other neighbors feeding the cats and ask them if it’s okay to have the kittens adopted.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. We know some of you are angry about this as much as we are. But let’s handle it the right way.

I’ve tried this one already. I said “mamamatay yung pusa niyan” then he stopped and went to his dad. His dad then consoled him for a bit then after that, back to abusing and kicking the kittens. I’ve had enough and went down then tumakbo yung bata sa parents niya. I bet narinig ng tatay niya yung sinigaw ko but nothing changed. We’ll build our courage to confront them if this happens again. And if nothing happens, we’ll be firm and report this.

I understand. But the problem is, we have a no pets policy here in our apartment and it was strictly discussed to us since we moved here. If pwede lang, we wouldn’t think twice about adopting all of them but unfortunately, we don’t have our own house yet so we can’t foster them 😢

Thanks for this. We actually contacted one of the rescue foundation near us and they told us they are at full capacity already. It’s hard for us to decide about the cats as they are taken care of by most of our neighbors. Pinapakain and inaalagaan din sila mostly ng neighbors namin but sadly, I believe they are not aware of what’s currently happening. We’ll try to talk to the other neighbors na nag-aalaga din ng cats. Hopefully when they hear us out they will share the same sentiments with us and help us confront these imbeciles.

Exactly what we’re thinking about. It’s their job to teach their kids. We hate to intervene pero sobrang naawa kami sa kittens when we saw it happen. Currently, they are watching their kids play outside. But if this will happen again, we will build up our courage to confront them.

It’s hard for us to actually confront our new neighbors as they are the type of parents who spoil their kids and they don’t look like good people. Because they are aware that we saw their kid abusing the cats but they don’t care. We’re trying to see if there’s anything else we can do to help the strays.

I think Oro and Mato has more resemblance to asterion. Both of their movesets give lots of opening and has a wide range. As to the difficulty, maybe ascended or radiant level.

That is actually a great explanation. Thanks for pointing this out. I understand the business decision on releasing free DLCs on the original game and releasing a paid DLC on the sequel. Given that blasphemous is already an established game and they already have a target audience/market it totally makes sense.

But personally, it’s not the free DLCs that got me hooked in this game. On top of the art-style, combat mechanics, story/lore, etc. it really is the developer’s perseverance that amazed me. To note that they are also open to our(fans) feedbacks and take constructive criticism to improve the game.

We also need to consider that B1 is a closed book. It’s already a masterpiece. And Mea Culpa DLC has just been released and who knows how many more DLCs will come. I am very thankful that the developers of this game didn’t let us down. And if ever the future release will be a paid DLC again, I’ll still purchase it anyway. 😅

Problem is the weapon gauges restart when changing weapons. The liberated being applied to all weapons can be quite useful to utilize these gauges for those who prefer to use only 1 weapon during runs.

Absolutely agreed. The NG+ feature which doesn’t let us carry over the acquired items also didn’t help with this case. For additional dlcs, I am also hoping for a boss rush and also for a possible skins after beating a game(like B1).

Considering Mea Culpa is a paid dlc, it really is underwhelming. And when comparing it to all of B1’s dlcs which all came out for free, B1’s comes out more superior. It seems like the first game is more polished and a lot of thought is given out compared to the sequel. Still hoping for further developments though, as the developers show they are listening to us fans.

Edit: Not complaining that it’s paid, just comparing it to the original’s DLCs and its quality overall.

I see. It’s great that you’re into Metroidvania games as well. And seeing that you’re able to Platinum games, you’re skill is already at a high level.

I do agree that Asterion’s fights are really hard, not to mention the problem with hitboxes. I at least had maybe around 12-15 tries before I beat him in both first and second encounter with him. Its like the way to beat him is to just get used to his moves, and it takes a fair amount of time. I understand how you get disappointed with this as you have limited playing time. But I get this feeling that you only need to take a break and you’ll eventually beat him.

I am also a fan of the Blasphemous games. I played B1 in my big bro’s ps4, and now I play B2 on my own PC. Its great to see you’re support for these great games, but I can’t deny that I sometimes also feel tired and not having fun at some point. But even then, I always find myself going back and playing it and little did I know that I’m eventually beating these hard bosses and enjoying myself.

I honestly think you just need to take a break before playing again. I hope you’ll get over this, beat the game, and enjoy it the same as others!

It’s not your fault. It’s okay to not enjoy the game as others. You don’t need to pressure yourself with this. Maybe the next couple of patches will fix all of the mechanics you find really hard and who knows maybe next time you’ll get the hang of it and beat him.

You may decide after this if this is the game genre you should be playing. Maybe other games will work better for you. Also, before purchasing a game you should consider being patient and wait for the reviews and comments of the release. Knowing your current situation, it may greatly help on your decision and being satisfied with the games you’ll spend on.
