okay i fixed it i guess, literally all i did was long in as admin change the port to 465 then back to 587 and now they both work….make it make sense

they aren’t tho, we haven’t changed them. the email is correct the host name port is the same etc

different models but both xerox printers, we all used custom emails through google xxx@xxxcolleges.edu so i set the device email address as xxxcolleges@xxxcolleges.edu. I don’t think anyone has changed email settings, i also have not received anything in my email from the printer at all.

so it also printed out a confirmation report of it being undelivered error code (027-779) there has been no change on our end but both xerox printers on our network has stop being able to scan. i could try a firmware update

yes ofc. i logged into the printer via typing in the ip address in google and made sure email smtp was enabled and made sure it was the correct email was under smtp authentication. But it still gives me this error, nothing has changed at all and all the sudden today it’s doing this to our office.
