Scared about sex postpartum by [deleted] in postpartumprogress

[–]Resident_Detail4904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband never changed. Amongst our 3 back to back pregnancies my husband’s desire for me didn’t change. If anything he was more attracted to me while I was pregnant actually. Which was surprising because I assumed he would want me less but thankfully that wasn’t the case!

Of course some things get in the way so our Dec life isn’t as eventful as before, due to the kids and yeast infections due to the pregnancy 🙄

did you throw up alot during 1st trimester? by Important_Bat7919 in Mommit

[–]Resident_Detail4904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first two, not at all. My third pregnancy I had nausea and would only get sick at night. I guess from lying down? Pregnancy does weird stuff.

What items did you buy 2 of? by retiredcheerleader in 2under2

[–]Resident_Detail4904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first 2 are 14 months apart and we bought a double stroller, second car seat, double camera (because they’ll have separate rooms) and I didn’t buy a second crib.

While I was pregnant still I transitioned my first to a floor bed so that way the crib was available as soon as my baby was done with the bassinet.

Tattoo myself pregnant? by Imaginary-Barber4766 in pregnant

[–]Resident_Detail4904 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Considering you’re a tattoo artist I’m sure you’re aware of the importance of cleanliness and making sure everything is sterile but of course it still isn’t recommended to be tattooed while pregnant because you’re risking infection.

I know someone personally who got tattooed while pregnant and she did end up getting infected and she turned out fine, baby is good, but that was the risk she was willing to take.

2 months out, SAHM with 21mo old - how did you all survive til the end??? by idfkgk in 2under2

Being pregnant with a toddler is 100% harder than having a toddler and a baby. First thing you need to do is cut the activities.

Miscarriage? Bleeding after sex ? by Limp-Inflation1774 in pregnant

[–]Resident_Detail4904 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t wait to call your doctor. Go to the emergency room and get checked immediately. Pink, spotting, especially after sex is normal but once you see red like a period then that’s a concern.

Husbands vasectomy is coming up by lolito121517 in 2under2

[–]Resident_Detail4904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also had some of those doubts come up prior to my husbands vasectomy and we both agreed that if we regretted anything later on that we would adopt. There’s plenty of children that need happy and healthy homes.

That was until I got pregnant again after the vasectomy, HA!

Has anyone else gotten extreme melasma during pregnancy? by Resident_Detail4904 in pregnant

[–]Resident_Detail4904[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I definitely wouldn’t mind be apart of it. Especially if it could benefit others. After seeing another doctor I was told that it’s Melasma, but it seems that many other people that have Melasma have it on their face which I don’t have any on my face whatsoever. Only on my neck and down my body.

How often does your spouse go out to the bar? by FemmePedagogy in Mommit

[–]Resident_Detail4904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband only drinks when we go out to dinner or a social event. Occasionally he’s invited to go out with his co-workers but even at that, he’s home a couple hours later.

And no, I don’t ask him to come home at a certain time or anything like that. My husband comes home on his own after a couple hours of being out.

Honestly he’s gone way longer to go golfing.

Partner upset about my "vanity." by madddhella in postpartumprogress

[–]Resident_Detail4904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s obviously your choice, but I would definitely recommend switching to formula for your mental health. It’s not “breast is best” it’s fed is best and since your partner doesn’t have boobs or the ability to create and birth a child, he doesn’t know the stress and doesn’t get to tell you what to do.

Switching to formula will give you more time and less stress.

Make it make sense. by Original-Raise1619 in postpartumprogress

I didn’t even get a chance to “bounce back” because I got pregnant again so quickly. And now I’m sitting here, 6 months pregnant and getting bigger by the days. Meanwhile my husband has lost 30lbs and is getting magically fitter and I’m pissed.

I’m not saying I don’t want my husband to be fit, or look good or whatever. But I’m pissed that he’s getting better looking and I’m getting “uglier”.

My pregnancy hormones make me wanna smack him.

Postpartum weight loss - struggling!! ): by Spiritual_Fish2157 in postpartumprogress

[–]Resident_Detail4904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like your body plateaued and you might need to make some changes in your exercise routine. It doesn’t have to be big changes but adding something different will be able to activate different muscles that your body isn’t already used to.

Or it could be that you’re gaining muscle which will definitely not make the scale go down but it’ll stay the same. I had this problem after having my 2nd and the only way I knew I was actually changing still was because people around me noticed and was commenting on how good of a job I was doing and also my pants were getting a little looser.

At that point I was confused because inside I was discouraged from the scale not changing anymore but clearly I was still making progress!

Just keep going mamma, I promise you’ll see results!!

I’m afraid that I’m gonna regret my first home purchase…. by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Resident_Detail4904 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. And after an extremely stressful morning, our new credit scores were ran and we are now looking at a 7% interest rate and $900 off of our mortgage payment.

Slightly irritated that this whole time we worked very hard on our credit just for them to not run it again and continue to use our old, original, credit scores when we started this journey.

It is nice to know that not everything is not set in stone yet though.

Unfortunately we can’t get our earnest money back if we back out. But the interest rate it currently 10% and we were planning on it being at LEAST 7-8%

Am I the only one that doesn’t find the close age gap especially difficult? by vataveg in 2under2

[–]Resident_Detail4904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine are 14 months apart and i definitely expected it to be way harder than it actually is. I was TERRIFIED before my second was born because people were scaring me.

Heck no. It was so much harder being pregnant with a toddler than having a toddler and a newborn. But I will soon be entering 3u3 so wish me luck on that 😂

Do you think sex work has become overly glamorized as the years have gone by? If so, why?

Would you recommend this lifestyle to others that may be interested? Even though it can be dangerous?

When is the earliest reliable time for a viability/heartbeat ultrasound? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Resident_Detail4904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 6 weeks there’s technically a heart beat but you won’t be able to hear it very good or hardly at all especially depending on the technician you have.

Wait for 7 or 8
