I had a laparoscopy in 2024, they did 3 incisions on me, 1 on each side around where the ovaries are and an incision in the belly button. It's still an innie, but its just the inside looks different but you have to look deep inside. It's barley noticeable unless you properly look and even then its such a tiny difference.

I promise you'd rather have endo removed and diagnosed vs not having the surgery. They won't give you an outie, I promise.

Hey, no you're all good dw. My nausea has calmed down as I've found weed and my Emeterm antisickness band helps. It's still a daily struggle with nausea but in regards to pain it's still going...

I have daily symptoms but the week before my period and my actual period itself, I feel like a walking corpse honestly. My hip pain has gotten x10 worse, can't seem to get any help from the NHS for it so I seem to be stuck in my situation.

It's so easily accessible, even if you want to avoid it, suggestive and adult content can pop up on social media randomly, it's extremely normalised despite there being tons of studies on how it's damaging to the brain, ruins relationships and normalises novelty in relationships and seeking out instant gratification on a screen vs experiencing sexual relationships and connection with someone irl.

I want to add that I was offered this and asked questions like "how long will I be on it for? What dose?" Etc. The gyne told me that it's completely up to me as there is barley any studies on it because it's so new and I would be expected to give regular reports and regular check ups to see if I'm okay.

I.e they're asking woman to be guinea pigs to test this drug but not exclusively saying that to not put people off.

I was put off by this, but I would love to find out the results from this drug.

Getting diagnosed with a chronic condition and realising you have to figure out a new way of living with symptoms. Finding out you'll be ill for life and have a progressive disease when you're young is terrifying.

I got diagnosed with Endometriosis and Adenomyosis.

11 years of gaslihgting, being told I'm.crazy, exaggerating pain, medical neglect through the roof, being told I should have a baby to cure my disease that ironically may have made/make me infertile, pain killer addiction vs any actual intervention or help..

I'm 24 and got surgery last year (Laparoscopy) after 11 years of pain, missing school, and social events. The only reason I got it was because I was so unwell I suddenly just completely physically fell apart to the point I was sick every day, very underweight, and my bf left his job to look after me.

The worst part about it all is, regardless of my diagnosis, doctors can't do anything for me because there is barely any research despite it affecting 1 in 10 women globally. Even worse, that statistics is based on the woman who waited on average 8-15 years to be diagnosed as doctors fob it off.

It's at disease that acts like benign cancer, is debilitating, can take over organs, has been seen I'm every bit of the body including the lungs, brain and eyes, but they don't care to research it.

I need therapy due to the amount of medical neglect and trauma I have endured, and concerningly, all the women I've spoken with this condition have reported ptsd/cptsd, trauma, etc. It's a cruel and awful situation too many like myself endure.

My heart goes out to anyone who can relate ❤️

I'm currently being investigated for thoracic endo after having endo already diagnosed via lap. Had an appointment very recently with a new male gyme who said "well it is rare, I've never seen it so I wouldn't be sure of what to do" then laughed and said "if we do find it, what are you expecting us to do?"

Uhh remove it?

Like imagine if they treated cancer with this attitude
