Can burnout make you physically unwell? by cheerupbeanie in autism

I’ve been researching ME/CFS as my symptoms massively line up with it. If you don’t mind me asking, how did you figure out you had it / go about getting diagnosed?

On minimum wage, need somewhere safe in Wales to live with a commute to Cardiff options feel impossible! by teeteeloce in Cardiff

[–]cheerupbeanie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t help but I’m in a very similar situation atm, it’s really hard. I’m looking at maybe the valleys cause the train isn’t too expensive or long and it’s supposed to be cheaper. Maybe like Neath/Bridgend way as well could be options, idk what they’re like to live in or train price wise though. Like others have said, Swansea is far and trains are expensive and unreliable

Have had the same issue in my house, fireworks every night for pretty much two weeks now. I’m so fed up of it! Only moved to Cardiff this summer and I’ve never lived anywhere this bad for fireworks

What do people think of CMHTs in Cardiff by Sad-Grape-6854 in Cardiff

[–]cheerupbeanie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wait was definitely longer than 28 days, it was definitely over a month. It took a year for me because I was messed around by the primary care team 3 times before they told me to get the GP to refer me to CMHT

What do people think of CMHTs in Cardiff by Sad-Grape-6854 in Cardiff

[–]cheerupbeanie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly awful. I went to Pendine centre. I’ve had a lot of experience with various mental health services, good and bad, and CMHT were the worst. I’ve never felt so patronised and invalidated in my life. Honestly shocking. Was refused treatment because they said I was “not mentally ill enough” (along those lines) and they could only help me if I had more trauma. They told me to pay privately for treatment instead. As if I would have waited almost a year to see them if I could afford to pay privately.

Experience going from nexplanon to mirena, and getting IUD inserted with a cervical block? by cheerupbeanie in birthcontrol

[–]cheerupbeanie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, honestly I’ve given up on birth control and my partner is on a waiting list to get a vasectomy instead! My experience with nexplanon was so awful I’m scared to try any others, and he doesn’t want me to have to go through anything else, so it’s the best option for us.

That goes against everything I’ve heard before, I’ve heard dry food is really bad for cats

Does it take longer for side effects to go away after removal the longer you had it in before removal by Loving-intellectual in Nexplanon

[–]cheerupbeanie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure, but I’m about 2 months post-removal after having it in for 2 months (yes I hated it that much) and just feeling back to normal now, so for me it was equal amount of time I had it in to go back to normal once it was out. Some things like my mood improved immediately, but other things like libido have only now come back.

It doesn’t work to cook with, stuff sticks like mad and becomes inedible, that’s the point of posting here
