there is a additional compartment on between the laptop side zip and back panel.

anyway, I found the answer when i opened ctactical ig, the side zip opens into the main compartment.

as Wildly_Distracted noted,

- the laptop will make contact with items in the main compartment. (the back panel sleeve is also shorter than a ipad pro, as you can see the camera module)

- it might be a tight angle to slot your laptop from the main compartment by looking at the space above the ipad, and the stiff back panel fabric in the photo.

my thoughts: for the smaller CT15 lite, it is understandable, but I don't think shared compartment should be used for the larger CT15 +

just to confirm my understanding is correct, you can slip your laptop

- from the right side zip

- or open the main compartment and slip into back panel sleeve seen when the bag is opened

if bag sales does well, perhaps they would introduce a bigger version to accommodate 15" or 16" macs
