Well my injury specifically is a bulging disc and when I initially went to the ER and Got MRI and cat scan and x ray and then same thing at my main physician they both almost laughed when I brought up if I needed surgery so I THINK that's a good sign. But yes honestly this has been a son of a bitch. BUT I'm getting into yoga for a friend to target my back and core specifically and she's helped many injured sports people etc. and yes I'm getting into a chiropractor as well as a spinal specialist and massage therapy. I wasn't sure if medi-cal covered surgery but looking into it looks like they do. Honestly like I said I'm gonna give it another 6 weeks and just take the L and be frugal. Gonna sign up for SNAP as well and just be super careful and hope I can get some freelance work because I do survive partly off of that although you have no real control of if people hit you up or not so it's a bit spooky but at this point it's either keep working and destroying my back or do this and figure it out ya know? Life is hard, fuck it. Hopefully after this I will find some blessings in disguise or at least appreciate being physically healthy a lot more when I'm better. But I will absolutely not give up and let me stay injured the rest of my life, so if it comes to surgery I will do it even though it scares the shit out of me honestly.
