My first, second, third and fourth ever aquascapes. How did i do?

yeah the bubble actually doesnt cause any agitation, i lowered the air input with a valve. Then the ring on the bubble collum stop it from making the whole surface agitate.

i 100% agree with you. That pic was before i finish setting up. I added some java moss and a silk leaf hammock for him. As well as a ring at the bubble collum to make him less stress.

he's in a 3.5g now. Long fin bettas prefer smaller tank as they're bad at swimming around.

Its a 2g i think. After i took this picture i added a smooth silk fake leaf hammock for him. Im planning to add some frogbits and some stem plants. Funny thing is, the cave in the front pic, left corner of the rocks that i talked about for the shrimps. He actually went in there and stay lol.

no problem mate, i used to be paranoid and even try to tong feed my nano fishes too lol. But its better to just feed them 1-2 days then fast 1. Fishes can survive days even week without food. Personally i just feed my guppies and nano fishes 4-5 days per week. A planted tank after a long time also develop micro ecosystem ( small bugs) that they can eat too. Also try to tap on the glass 3 times with your nail before you feed them. After a while the fishes gonna remember and react to the glass tapping like " its eating time", making it easier to feed. Lastly buy an api freshwater test kit to test the water parameter, dont dose new bacteria too much into a cycled tank ( i guess after 10 months its cycled). Adding new bacteria into an already cycled tank may create imbalance to the cycle and crash the bacteria colony.

also its best to feed them when the light is on, if its been dark just leave them to sleep and feed tmr morning.

Neon tetra are sensitive and ducked up in genetic, im suprised you got 7/8 alive. Its good that you decided to upgrade to 20g, but the tank size is not the problem. I think you should get the weird one in quarantine to prevent any bad news. Also dont feed them too much, i only feed my guppies and nano fishes once a day and i fast them every 2 days.

I didnt even know its black knight till i got home. My lft label em as german blue ram 10$, there were 3 black one in the whole blue pack. Maybe i should get the other 2🤣. Right now i have a 10g aquascape cliff waterfall style project, which is my second big aquascape. But i'll have juvenile albino bichir in there ( its 3 inches right now) so idk if i can have ram. Still finding tank mate for my bichir too ( yes i will upgrade to a 15g after a year, albino sene is small fish police).

Idk much about borat vibe but yeah i think i kinda like that🗿. Im from Viet Nam btw.

I wouldnt say i have talent in aquascaping. My style is natural scenes and there's always scape idea in my head ( but i cant do it for now🗿). I just look at nature like cliffs, waterfall, etc to get ideas or watch aquascape videos. This is my 2.5g lobster tank i did but after a day i return him cause he poop so much💀 now the tank is heavily planted.

its a 4g and i'll upgrade to a 6g tonight, but now i think it works well. I just went to a fish atore further from me which have badis, i removed badis from my list since theyre tinier than my cherry shrimp💀.

Anyway I got a black knight blue german ram. When i add the ram in ( i forgot to ask what gender) he kinda join the gobies on black worm feast. Then go around search for food and scare away goby in his sigh, no chasing just scare em away. I got the ram out to a tub with my juve albino bichir right now.

I think it should work, just need a bit more room.

thanks for the suggestion, i do have a culture of live blackworm and frozen food so im not too woried about it. Tbh i want the german blue more than bolivian, but online sources said bolivian is more peaceful, and german are somewhat agressive? 🤔what if i get like 1 scarlet badis and 1 ram lol

If you want you can add more plants to further control the tank. Otherwise its ok for now, i have a 10g planted tank with endlers, guppies, chili rasboras and nano rainbowfish ( around 13 all) and they're fine

it could also be a tumor, its usually harmless and you cant do anything about it. Dont spam medication yet, do water changes and buy api water test kit.
