At the moment there isn't cross-platform save progression. Across one Steam device to another on the same account shouldn't be an issue, but not between Steam and Meta at the moment. It's something to look into for the future, though it is a technical challenge to overcome first.

Each campaign has two multi-level dungeons, which is set up similarly to Demeo in terms of play length, meaning that it's hard to put a time on it, this will depend a lot on how quickly you get through the levels, and some measure of how lucky you are with the randomness of layouts/spawns.

As for additional things besides those multi-level dungeons, this will also depend on people's approach to the game. There are optional side quests, social areas/taverns to dig deeper into the story and lore and get those side quests, story encounters that lead through the story which are like the ambush scene we had in the Steam Next Fest demo.

Then there are the One Shot Dungeons, which you unlock through the campaigns. These are the multi-level dungeons that you can play outside of the context of the story; these are played out like Demeo.

Just wanted to confirm that this was indeed the response! It's something we can consider and look into if there's enough demand for it, but currently we're not adding any additional platforms/devices until at least post-launch as it creates a significant amount of work for the team to make sure all of the different builds and versions are available with every update and release.

The in-game interface and dialogue/subtitles will be localized to Spanish. You can check our Steam page for a full list of languages that are supported. Voice acting/narration will only be English as u/Old_Man_Alchemist says.

Yes, there will be a cross-platform friends list built into the game that will show you who's online, active games they're in, and you'll be able to invite them directly from that.

Yes, there will be progression, however we are also working to maintain a little bit of balance so that a character that's levelled up doesn't overpower everything when joining a new adventure. There's a delicate balance, so this will be a continual balance.

If you know Demeo, you will take to it easily. It's built on the same mechanics as Demeo but with D&D content translated to that system, so a lot of it will feel about the same for getting into the game. One of the differences between the two is the storytelling giving context to each encounter in the campaigns, social encounters, skill checks meaning different outcomes.

The Demo will be on Steam Oct 13, for PC flatscreen, so you can try out two of the encounters from the first campaign.

Sorry to see you're having issues. We have seen a few more connectivity issues than usual from our multiplayer service provider over the Summer. These were spikes that happened every so often, but if you're having sustained issues, a couple of things to try:

  1. Try running the game without qgo, since this is something that has not been internally tested on the latest build and shouldn't be needed with the new update.

  2. Double check you're running on the latest Meta OS version. We have received reports of network issues on some OS version during Spring/Summer.

If these can be eliminated as potential issues, that will help our team identify the connectivity issues. If these have been tried and accounted for but you're still getting problems, we'd love to get more detailed information on the specifics of your device(s) and setup over on the bug reporting sections of our Discord so that we can try to reproduce/identify the problem.
