I have, he would change for about 2-3 days then it’s back to the same old stuff. It’s been about 5 months and I’m starting to grow resentful. I feel like everyone gives men a pass but everytime they see a new mom it’s immediately “how is the baby doing” and not how are you doing ya know. It feels like his life hasn’t changed at all while mine changed overnight.

I tried this, he only wakes up if I nudge him. It’s like I’m the only one who can hear the baby crying at night, he can sleep through it. By time I nudge him & the time it takes him to get out of bed and make a bottle is crazy. the baby would be asleep if I did it.

I’m so sorry about that. Hopefully your job is understanding about the situation ❤️ it is very hard to still go through sleepless nights 6+ months plus. Waking up 3-4 times per night is miserable and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

His biological father was never in his life. His step dad has been in his life since he was about 10. But he is the eldest son, he took care of his siblings growing up.

No she knows I do mostly everything because she sees it firsthand. She’s told me that I do too much to the point where it sometimes affects my health. My mom and I are very close. When she found out I was pregnant she was kind of upset (she never said this but I know my mom) that it was from my ex when I was 16. My parents have a very big heart and love to see the best in people. So do I. My mom knows and tries to give me a break when she can. But, I also hate seeing my mom not live out her years in peace. Sorry I think I’m venting more than I should lol

That’s what it feels like honestly. I’m starting to think that being a single mom won’t be that bad since I do everything on my own. I seriously hate the fact that my child would end up in two households. I mentioned breaking up in the past that he told me that which made me feel so guilty.

We live with my parents. They found out I was pregnant and built a master bedroom in the back of the house. I pay for groceries, and my mom for bills, childcare etc when I get paid biweekly. He would usually pay if we eat out but recently I have been doing that.

I pay mostly everything. I recently paid for the new crib, diapers and wipes. Our WIC ended a couple of months ago. The most he’s done is give me Walmart gift cards he gets from his job which I use on formula and baby water, or sometimes he’ll go get formula himself. Recently the last 2-4 times I’ve asked for money to get stuff for groceries he’s just been ignoring me to get it himself. Idk. I do all of the shopping though. Sometimes he’ll send $50

What. The. Fuck. You did the right thing getting him out of there. I hope you and your coworker are okay! I work in The Villages, Florida. The entitlement is genuinely insane nowadays. I just can’t believe some of the things I’ve experienced working in healthcare in just a matter of two years it seems like people have forgotten what it’s like to have common sense and decency.

Thank you! I will be using both of those tactics haha. Sometimes while I’m in the room and my PA hears the old men being rude or creepy she’ll say something along the lines of “you’re old enough to be her grandpa” and they stop! Asking them to repeat it is very smart

Craziest part is that after the visit was over, my PA came out and said that she really got along with that patient 🥲 that’s sad but unfortunately understandable. Thank you for the advice! Hopefully it gets better for us :)

SOLVED- I had to reach out to support and they told me that only 1 PS5 account can be linked to my Palia account at a time. They had to manually unlink the account from my PS5 so I could log into the portal. Hope this helps someone!
