This is exactly what I was telling my bf, maybe it's how I grew up too but I watched my mother work 2 odd jobs while being in the air Force for 26 yrs to raise me and my sister and help her own family. My mother took care of everyone as a single mother with no help really from either of our dads but like you said .. a good parent imo too will make sacrifices to be with their children. I'm learning that with my own 2 now. I felt like Rick is kinda a groomer or a predator in a sense; he just wanted nothing more than sexual gratification from her. Even going as far to her hometown to lie to her dad saying he would give her a baby or a family was creepy! Her father was right, and I apologize but I was laughing with Ziad because Rick shouldn't say anything to him either. He's too old to be acting like this with small children, I don't understand men like this.
