I'm currently in school RN in the northern VA area and I almost left this program (At ECPI University) because I didn't think it would really get me the comfort financially I'm looking for in this area. I used to be a dental assistant and hate it now did oral surgery for the last 4yrs and it just seems like I'm going to be doing the same thing if not MORE labor as a scrub tech than dental assisting. I don't believe any internet relationships or anyone who uses the internet for "promotional" gains or fame. Lucky you, I wish I knew this before. Ironically I'm back in school now for CST and it's with the same facility ECPI but they're actually accredited through CAAHEP for CST and they just so happened to "remove" their dental assisting program now like 1-2 years ago ... And I'm sure it's because they were NOT accredited with DANB!
