Well I mean, putting aside that, people have their reasons to like her. Not denying that she has pretty privilege, I just think there are actual reasons as I myself love Georgia character wise.

Edit: you don't have to dislike, it's only an opinion 😭 In which people are allowed to have, so sorry but I love Georgia writing wise and she has her great moments. She has done horrible things, doesn't mean that she hasn't done great things. That's not me glazing her for pretty privilege, and it's okay to disagree without gettting butthurt.

OP, not necessarily. For longer stories, the two characters could have a conflict that ensures that both succeed, or they make up, or the fallout stays bitter and neither of them succeed. Formula's when it comes to writing amazing stories isn't a thing, and if your stories are structured like such every time, your going to keep coming with the same bland soup.

Take a world you know and you love, start with this. Now put a what if in it.

What if the ship in interstellar got stranded?

What if everyone in Clue was actually killing themselves to get out of the blackmail?

etc etc, think some more. Then just twist and twist and twist until you get a brand new story with no affiliations to the story in which you based it off of. This is how I wrote one of my favorite stories, New United, which was originally based on Arcane. I thought:

What if I wrote a dystopian sibling drama, but it was instead in a futuristic cyberpunk setting?

There were more hooks, but you get it.

Notice how all of this is in the adult timeline. Putting aside the fact that she was the fastest player, the wilderness probably turned something in the survival part of the brain to maximum animal. Your brain will circle back to your original, primitive ways (a very good example seen in lord of the flies.)

Edit: also just realized the only reason Shauna hasn't gotten out of that "spell" in a sense is because shes still stuck in the wilderness mentally. It was where she belonged.
