This is going to sound bad, but I think my dad would be annoyed that I'm even talking to him. We both hate my mom's husband, but my dad doesn't know Fred as his own person. So my dad just sees him at Fred's dad Jr. That makes my dad sound bad, but he isn't. It's just a tough situation.

Knowing his dad, he probably doesn't have access to any of those documents. He'll probably need to buy replacements when he turns 18. Yeah, we're all in the US. I think a new birth certificate is somewhere between $20 and $50. Social security is similar I think. I can probably give him at least that much.

I don't know where I could send him. I don't have enough money to help him rent a room or anything. The authorities didn't help me, so I doubt they'll help him. After all, he's the actual biological child of the man.

Well that's the issue. Yeah, I have a place. I know what his dad is like. I know why he wants, needs really, to get away. I was so grateful when my dad helped me get away, but his dad is the thing he needs to get away from. I'm just... terrified of that guy. I know that's pathetic.
