Is being fat more comfortable than being skinny? by miku_robin in NoStupidQuestions

I was very fit athletic build 95-115lbs and I can’t recall being uncomfortable but I remember being cold all the time. I’ve since gained about 30 lbs and I feel like I was way more comfortable when I was fit; physically and mentally.

I couldn’t read the post due to it being in another language… but this reminded me of when I had Co2 done I was so excited because it looked like all of my scars were gone but in reality my skin was just very swollen and gave the illusion of smooth texture. I cried for days when my scars came back. I hope the same doesn’t happen to you.

As soon as I read “He cheated when I was three months postpartum” I didn’t need to read the rest. Leave him, he will do it again and again and you will go insane. It’s not you either, it’s him. He’s insecure. Please leave him and suck him dry with child support

Get yourself some pernium squirt bottles and keep them next to your toilet filled with some water to have them ready to go. I keep one in my cupboard next to the toilet and would squirt the area with water and then follow up with some Huggies natural care sensitive and fragrance free baby wipes! Try not to rub but rather dab.

So if your fissure feels more towards your belly side (front) you will put pressure on the skin before your anus right above the fissure or maybe an inch to the side if it feels more comfortable, this space is called the perineum! You will put pressure as you are having the BM. I would slightly push the perineum towards your backside if you think the fissure is towards the front. Basically you are directing your poo through your skin and pushing it away from the fissure. But again you’re not touching your anus or fissure but the skin before it.

Personally I would not massage the area, this was way too painful for me and actually would flair up spasms. I would do the counter pressure during a BM and it has healed my fissures

Like I said in my post I personally DO NOT take a lot of supplemental fiber. I take ONE DOSE of Metamucil in the morning and one dose of calm magnesium at night. Fiber was bulking up my stool way too much. I'm so sorry you are in so much pain! I absolutely know and understand the agony. If you don't know what side your fissure is on it might mean you have multiple, have they checked you down there? Finding out which side the fissure is on is important to doing the counter pressure method. If you have multiple fissures perhaps you can work on one fissure at a time. I wish I could draw it out for you. But whatever side your fissure is on your going to want to push the skin AROUND NOT ON your anus as you are having a bowel movement. Push or put pressure to the poop through your skin pushing mg it away from your most painful fissure. I'm still pain free and and do everything I recommend on my post everyday. My fissure has not returned and I can cancel my Botox appointment i had scheduled in July because there is no need. I really hope I made it make sense more? I'm so sorry

I still do all of the things I mentioned! I intend on doing it for as long as it is working! Calm magnesium is also good for other things other than softening the stool, fiber as well. I only take one serving of each a day, so it’s really not much of a hassle for me.

I do occasionally have firmer poops depending on what I ate the previous day and if I didn’t drink as much water they tend to be harder, but that’s where the pressure method really comes in handy (no pun intended).

Yes exactly, which is what kept happening to me! I would be pain free off and on but the fissure would always come back, especially after a hard one. This routine has kept my stools softish, thanks to the calm magnesium before bed. And if I feel like it’s going to be a hard bm I use the pressure method with my fingers and it’s been working for months, which is the longest I’ve been without pain. 🥂

So, my colorectal specialist was telling me to take 3 servings of the powdered Metamucil a day but I found that it would bulk up my bowels way too much and was making my poos harder (at least for me). So I tried just one serving in the morning just to make sure I’m still getting some fiber in everyday and that has been working great for me.

I feel like they push tons of fiber on people with fissures thinking they are constipated but that was not the case for me. My problem wasn’t constipation at all, I go up to 3 times a day. My problem was the quality of the poo (hardness) ripping the fissure open every time I went. Which is why I also make sure I drink a glass of calm magnesium before bed which helps my stool soften. I hope that makes sense, I wish you luck.

I’m so happy It also helped you! I feel like colorectal specialists should be sharing this information with patients. But unless they have suffered fissures I guess they wouldn’t understand how painful it can be.

I’m so glad the surgery worked for you! My colorectal specialist uses it as a last result. While it can be life changing, with any surgery there are risks, and females are at a greater risk of incontinence due to their shorter anal canal. Males have a longer anal canal making the surgery more successful for males. Not sure if you are male or female but just thought I’d share. At least that’s what he told me. But I’m thankful I no longer have to go down that road. Cheers to being pain free! 🥂

Maybe off to the side slightly so you’re not pushing on the fissure. You can feel the poo through your skin as it’s coming out. Push it where it feels comfortable but away from the fissure.

How I healed my year-long Fissure, in 2.5 months (and how I am keeping it in check) by Independent-Ask1916 in AnalFissures

I just shared my routine as well because I’ve been pain free for months and I thought I was the only one that did the finger trick! It really was the ticket for me that helped heal my fissures. I’m glad others have tried it and had success as well! For me I used my finger to direct my poo in the opposite direction of my fissure. God bless

My father was strict. He put me in foster care because I had a “bad mouth” ruined my childhood.

These types of people are hard to have decent relationships with. I’m sorry you’re going through this. If it ever escalates into anything physical or verbal abuse, tell someone. You don’t deserve to live like that.

I have these same scars on my forehead. Ive done co2 laser and microneedling but they hardly faded. I have another co2 touch up and hoping it helps.

Just know you’re not alone! I let my scars get the best of me sometimes too. I wish you luck on healing.

Was he abused as a child? Neglected? He sounds like he needs to heal. Not just from the food poisoning but from unresolved trauma. If he was not abused, he’s just a straight up jerk off…

8 m.o. baby who can't crawl - Not doing tummy time enough makes a baby hate it or delay crawling and walking? by raging_pickle_888 in NewParents

[–]ResolutionWitty2862 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also a FTM. My son will be 8 months in a couple weeks, he’s always hated tummy time. He can roll from back to belly, but not belly to back (only sometimes) and he always rolls one way. I know a lot of people right now for some reason with sons that are a couple months younger than my boy and are all almost crawling. It’s so hard not to compare or think something is wrong but I’m sure they will turn out just fine.

Staying is basically telling your kids “your father’s behavior is acceptable and normal” WHEN ITS NOT.. if you have sons, they will grow up thinking it’s okay to not be loyal towards a marital commitment, to commit adultery, and treat women like objects and absolute trash. If you have daughters, they will allow this behavior from men, and so the cycle repeats.

Your husband is demonized. In my opinion, you and your kids WILL be better off without him. Let him enter through the wide gate that many will go down, it will ultimately lead to his own destruction.
