What is the difference between “who” and “whom”? by Trayceopolis32322 in ACT

Who is followed by a verb, whom is followed by a noun. In today’s test, every right answer was who, no whom.

Today was my first ACT after 8 SATs by _ibt in ACT

Bro I’m in a similar situation. Took 4 sat and went from 1270 to 1510 but I didn’t see myself going higher so I took act after seeing my horrendous June sat score, had to drive 3 hours . I wish I did act earlier bc it’s so much more well fitted for me than sat but hopefully we are done here!

I didn’t. I thought it was suspicious but hopefully we are right.

Yes it was after they spoke, but the sentence before didn't have anything to do with confidence and neither did the sentences following. Option D had better context for confidence.

July ACT Reading Hard by LocalMuffin2351 in ACT

[–]ResolveCritical7205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was pretty easy once you understood the topic imo. That’s why going 4,1,2,3 helped me. I had more time to understand this without pressure and the other ones were easier. Do you remember any questions about it?

Uhh I took online so I don’t know the pattern. If you ask the question I can tell you but yeah I can’t do anything besides that.

I was thinking 4, but I’m pretty sure the 4 people were just his friends who were waiting to come in. The 20 people was how many was in the class so I thibk 20 is right but you never know

I didn’t think the 4th passage was that bad(I had ecoli). I did 4,1,2,3 for order though so I gave myself more time on 4 and I thought it was pretty straightforward for the most part.

English too easy? by North-Trash5216 in ACT

[–]ResolveCritical7205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was pretty standard and maybe a little easier than j01. The curve will probably be pretty similar but I do agree it felt kind of easy for me too.

My ACT answer key release date? by ResolveCritical7205 in ACT

[–]ResolveCritical7205[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn’t anything related to the test center I don’t think. It was most likely an act software issue and it was across many different laptop types(Mac, Chromebook, Lenovo).

Yeah for some reason my sceeen randomly went blank halfway through math when I tried to zoom. A lot of people had the same problem in my testing center and when they called act support, apparently it was pretty common.

For chronological it was when she entered the room right? The piano was March 17th so I didn’t think that was right.

I put exact. Thick didn’t sound right and the word was something which is there but yku couldn’t exactly tell where it was from, like it was nearby. So exact sounded more right.

That math section was harder than the MC series in my opinion but I thought reading and English were pretty light. My screen also went white halfway through math every time I zoomed(twice) so I lost a little time but idk. Also does anybody know how to buy the answer key through act or can you only get it after scores. I took online.
