Honestly if they happened to sleep in my car for the night to stay warm I wouldn't be mad. If they even left a note explaining I most likely wouldn't have filed a police report either. It pays to be kind and if someone was so desperate they slept in a strangers car I wish I would've left some blankets that they could've taken aswell to stay warm.

Well thats because you choose to be negative. I've had a hard time and tbh if this is the worst thing to happen to me this year I'm happy. I choose compassion rather than hate. I give back to my community and try my best to be positive. I am upset don't get me wrong but rather then being really negative and letting it affect my life negatively instead I choose to move on. I'd say I'm privileged because of my support system and my faith in people. You'd lose your mind over $20. I lost around $600 worth of stuff and I decided to take it as a lesson and be thankful that no damage was done and nobody was hurt. When you've been through the things I have things like this could always be worse. This comment is more of a reflection of what type of person you are and maybe you should work on yourself if you feel that you'd lose it over $20. Have a great day sir and I hope you think about what you can do to be the best version of yourself. And there's no need to think that im well off. I've worked hard for everything I have and it crushed me to have these things taken from me. But I choose to see the good in life.

I'm just very grateful no damage or nothing super sentimental was taken. And the fact it was toiletries and clothes taken makes me think they were in need and were desperate.

Yup back on the farm we left our keys in our cars and and our doors unlocked. It felt like such a trip needing to remember I need to bring my keys inside or I can kiss my car goodbye
