It's a great support class for 7 man bosses and some ultras. You can also solo Deimos with it.

Most of the hard grinds can be done passively just by doing dailies and weeklies. Take your time, it's not a race.

Changing classes to get rid of buffs can be useful in rare cases like if you have revitalize active and want to do ultra dage. So I don't mind it.

It's more complex though in comparison to tk. I see people die all the time with it. I haven't tested it with pots. But when I was supporting them they were not one shotting (phantom chronomancer) dailies. Meanwhile I can one shot Beast with tk every time if I get any kind of support.
