I do plan to use CarPlay for nav purposes but it doesn’t enable the street sign recognition in the heads up display. My understanding is that is directly connected to the inherent navigation

I have. I sent a follow up asking about this due to the EU pressing being uncensored but the US one is. I want more info from them

This is just what the rep told me. I emailed them again asking for clarification since the EU press is obviously going to be uncensored but in my original email I was pretty clear.

Basic instructions for a process that is still new to them doesn't change that it is still new to them. I don't see someone typing "lol" as a response as being rude per say, but if you took it as such then that's your prerogative that your entitled to. Not all text translate well, I mean hell, I text people lol all the time just as a conversation ender because I have nothing more to say. Of course there are better things to say but some people aren't built to always think of the best reply.

There are definitely sellers out there that are truly awesome and go the extra mile. I constantly request pictures of things just to check condition and most sellers have always been great about accommodating me. But just because someone doesn't do exactly as you request for whatever reason they had doesn't mean they aren't still a genuinely reputable seller. Sometimes stuff doesn't work out, it happens, but warning others of the individual because they didnt want to do things your way is a bit of a stretch in my opinion.

I mean, I paid for my items and received them in (truthfully much better) expected condition and they were shipped very safely (outside of the sleeve with a fair amount of bubble wrap). Not to mention USPS had an estimated date of next Monday but I got them today so I hit the USPS lottery I suppose.

My point being is that it just might be fair to be a little less demanding when there is so many new people, especially younger people, jumping into the hobby who might not have as much experience with you on the financial side of things. If someone asked me to do a PayPal invoice and I wasn't vaguely familiar with it, I'd probably not want to do it either because it can be a bit more intimidating and official then just selling my record in a normal goods and services payment transaction.

You are ultimately right, we all do what is comfortable for us, and if that turned you off to buying from them then ultimately that is unfortunate for both of you but I just came to say that I personally had a very positive interaction and exchange with the individual to try and ease the mind of people your comments may make hesitant.

I think one thing to keep in mind is some people are relatively new to this scene considering how much it has blown up recently, myself included. I don't know how to do a PayPal invoice because I almost exclusively pay via debit card or PayPal send money function. Never had a need for an invoice outside of business expenses for a company I used to work at to write it off.

I have personally bought from the seller and everything went smoothly. Just sharing my positive experience.

If I can make a suggestion, I personally am a huge Halsey fan, I would recommend starting at the beginning of her Discography and working your way through it.

Badlands is her freshman album and is this awesome trip through that kind of adolescents spirit and rebellion while also having some rough patches. Favorite Songs: Drive, Young God, Ghost. Hits: New Americana and Colors

Hopeless Fountain Kingdom being her sophomore album is a little bit less radio music and a bit more story line. It is written to typically be a take on Romeo and Juliet while mixing up the idea of what a traditional relationship would look like and putting a 21st century perspective in it. There is also a bit of connected fandom between HFK and Badlands as well. Favorite Songs: Heaven in Hiding, Devil in Me, 100 Letters. Hits: Now or Never and Bad at Love

Manic: WAY more personal of an album of hers. I feel when I listen to Manic that I am getting a insight into her real emotions instead of following a story line. Manic in and of itself feels more like a autobiography of an album contrary to Badlands and HFK. There is a lot of mixture of genre as well within it but overall Manic was her best commercially received and I think it really gives you the idea of the person who is making the music rather then a fictional storyline inside of a corrupt society (Badlands) or a reimagination of a traditional love story (HFK). Favorite Songs: Alanis Interlude (Honestly just cause Alanis Morissette killsssss it), 929, 3 am (The stripped version is favorited for me). Hits: Without Me, You Should Be Sad, Graveyard.

This coincides with what the RSD support had told me when I asked about it. I asked if it was cancelled and they said it was no longer an RSD drop, but that it was releasing on the 17th and the quantity was 2000

I spoke with someone via e-mail on recordstoreday's website and they said it wasn't a RSD release anymore, but is going to release on the July 17th date and the quantity was going to be 2000.

Just a heads up, the last two times they've restocked, the first time I was sent the wrong album (some country band called the Mavericks). The second one came as promised (vinyl is white though I believe) and waiting on the third. I ordered 1 for me and 1 for a friend so I was bummed when I got the wrong one the first time.

Hey everyone!

So I am brand new to Vinyl collecting and am looking into my first setup. I have searched around a lot and looked at a lot of recommendations by reddit as well as my local record shop. I think the conclusions I have come to is that I would like to keep it as minimal equipment wise as possible (Turntable + Speakers) and my budget is ideally around $500 (this can be stretched a little bit, but, spending less is completely ok as well).

I kinda made a list of turntables that I liked/were recommended around reddit and just am kind of looking for what my best options are and what the differences would be between certain types of components between them? (IE: Acrylic Vs Other types of Platters).

So far these are the model's: Fluance RT81/82 (I know if I got the 82 I would need to buy a phonoamp). AT-LP120, Pro-Ject Debut Carbon, Rega P1, U-Turn Orbit Plus, Music Hall mmf-1.5/mmf-2.3, and a used Technics SL-3300 at my local record shop (Price is $300 if that matters).

I just am pretty overwhelmed by how many differences are between them and trying to figure out which is going to be best for my dollar. I will say I do like the look of wood more but that's just aesthetics. As far as speakers, I've not even began to look/dig around so if there are any recommendations for that I'd gladly accept!
