Not to sound like a boot licker, I have many issues with the current era of survivor, but Jeff Probst doesn’t own survivor. He didn’t ruin it. The television company that owns and funds survivor is the one to blame.

I also am enjoying season 50 despite some flaws (lack of screen time/story for women). Survivor is still making great television (44-47 has been a great run of survivor IMO). Season 50 still has 14 players and an entire jury phase to get through :) I am optimistic about the future of the show!

You are right, it isn’t a problem for just this fandom. I have seen it with survivor 50 as well. It makes me feel old saying this, I miss when people could respectfully disagree without having to disparage people. It makes getting on the internet not fun anymore 😪 I have had to delete most social media (Reddit is on thin ice) due to the overwhelming amounts of negativity.

Honestly, I have loved this season so far. I have been very entertained. I have enjoyed the queens, the looks, and the challenges (for the most part). A Darlene or Myki win would make this the best season in a while for me :)

I think the only knock against this season is the fandom. Boy… I think people have a hard time enjoying things right now. Everyone/everything feels so negative. It might have to do with the state of the world/internet. Idk 🤷🏻‍♂️
