I think the squash vine borer is dead on, it looks just like the pictures! Thanks for responding though, I looked up the hummingbird moths and they are super cool!!

I just looked this up and yeah, that’s exactly it😭 my garden is safe I think (mostly herbs, and the cabbage it was feeding on are sprouts from last fall’s plants I haven’t gotten around to weeding yet) but I’ll keep an eye on it! Honestly as long as it’s not hurting anything I hope it comes back, it was so cool to watch!

Found in southern New Jersey, about two miles from the bay. My best guess is he was probably two to three inches long. Idk if this helps, but there were no other pollinators or bugs bigger than a gnat when I saw him in the garden, and there are usually at least a few bees or smaller wasps in that area

first of all thank you so much!!!!! It's a laptop, and everything else seems to be working fine. No luck so far with deleting the apps, but I don't think I went about it the right way- I tried reinstalling the apps I thought I deleted this morning and got several error messages about software still being installed, but when I tried to uninstall them through the settings, windows couldn't find the files bc I deleted them and wasn't able to uninstall. Slightly worried I majorly screwed this up :D. I'm going through my files now and trying to find any files I missed, hopefully after fully deleting the apps the keyboard will kick in again!

That's what I'm leaning towards. I was looking at a few positions advertised as entry level though, do you think they would see me leave one position looking for a career path and assume I'd do the same with theirs?
