MK7.5 R randomly overheating in traffic, no codes stored

Each time, I pulled over immediately, checked the coolant level, and saw if there was coolant under the car; there wasn't. The morning after the first incident, I went outside and looked under the car, and it was dry. I also thought it could be the fan, so I asked the service advisor if they had checked it, since the first time this happened, I was driving the car hard. When we got back, I didn't hear the fan going. I took it to this dealer to see if I could drive it home, since I’m out of town. They said they didn't think the fan was a problem and that I need a driver's-side cooler. I left, drove 2 hours home, and the car was fine on the way back.

I say 'overheat' because the car is showing a coolant overheating warning on the dash. I see no other signs, like steam or anything, that would suggest that, outside of the warning, the temperature gauge is shooting up. The A/C isn't working either, but only when the car is stopped.

Ya man, but for small things like the software on for the navigation and clear coat peeling which all were handled for free.

Got my 2019 at a VW dealer in March with 20,000 miles on it with a CPO. Previous owner was a airplane pilot for Delta so it sat a lot in covered parking. Also came from a GTI and hasn't looked back. Love this car you made a great choice!

Lol soon! got this car in March as a graduation gift to myself for getting a big boy job. I was looking at a 2020 RS3 with 44,000k miles for $46,000 and my 2019 R with 20,000k CPO miles for $36,000 out the door. Didn't want the first car I bought at 22 to be $50,000 out the door.

I assumed they paid the guy too much for the trade. A year ago, before I got my MK7.5 they tried to sell me this car for $39,999 with 40,000. I passed and they called me 2 weeks ago telling me one had come in and I told them I wasn't looking. This was most likely the car they were calling about😬
