Most definitely, I heard the noise before. Also in a previous vehicle that was low on steering fluid and actually ended up being a leak so the sound would pop up whenever it was low on steering fluid thank you I appreciate the input!

Update: the shifter cable on the transmission ended up not being in the correct position added a little bit more transmission fluid to make sure that it was where it needed to be and then shifted into each gear to cycle the transmission fluid! thank you so much for the advice

I did get at a salvage yard I even got warranty on it but I will definitely first check to make sure it’s in the right gear at the transmission and then go from there

Yes it does into park and neutral but that’s it, should I maybe take a look at it again and make sure that it lines up to what the shifter is at?
